webfact
Thailand to see rise in tourists as fallout continues in the US-China trade spat By The Thaiger Thailand may end up being a beneficiary in the ongoing US-China trade spat as mainland Chinese tourists will decide to travel closer to home or could even find it difficult to gain entry into the US. The Tourism Authority of Thailand is monitoring the situation to see if Beijing blocks Chinese tourists from making trips to the US. The restriction could even come from the US side as the trade wars escalate. It is expected that TAT offices in Kunming, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu and Beijing will actively promote Thai tourism whilst Beijing and Washington keep rolling out new sanctions. jaltsc
"Thailand may end up being a beneficiary in the ongoing US-China trade spat as mainland Chinese tourists will decide to travel closer to home..." One might conclude that if a Chinese tourist is desiring to go to the U.S. and has a change of plans, Europe or Australia/New Zealand would be a more logical alternative. That's if logic ever makes it into any of their equations. In this case, I am sure many here are hoping that would be their first choice.

toenail
The Chinese only go to USA to have babies ( the new borns automatically become USA citizens) or the students attend elite American Universities...and Los Vegas to gamble. The cheap, loud, Chinese without manners can visit Thailand; meanwhile pollute & litter the environment.
