I don't get why this one is so popular maybe Yinn knows? 3.8 million subs is impressive for new 15 year old Grataay. I think she needs a new make up artist!

1) perfect voice. Really.

2) good band and good song.

3) people love her because she NOT sexy. She is “lovely”. Everyone say.

4) hard work.

5) attitude

i put the sexy singer a lot here, because you are farang guys. Thai guy would choose marry “lovely” girl more than sexy girl. (But happy to “date” sexy girl.)

Hard for farang to understand.

Every family happy to have girl like this. Jah R-Siam, Baitoey, etc not so much.

look at what she wear at concert.like normal person. She don’t need sexy.

I think there is talk of her doing a song with JIntara, personally I like singers who look like they have made an effort with their costume and not look like they just got off a bus. However, I can see the attraction of the down to earth look and I know what many think about the likes of Biatoey etc. It would be interesting to hear your views on women fans and why some guys are so popular, they never seem 'sexy' handsom and charming seem to be the thing.

JIntara's latest, funny MV. One thing Thailand has always been ahead of the west in is what they now call LGBT etc, nobody takes any notice here they are just normal people, in the UK we locked them up until 1967, well the men at least.

Generally speak, farang woman want Handsome and rich.

Generally speak thai woman want gentleman, good manner and “jing jai”

i can not translate “jing jai”. Handsome and rich also good, but jingjai Is number 1 important.

North region thai man accent is very sweet. A lot of woman like that.

Right, so when the Mrs wants a new handbag then i will offer her some jing jai instead,  ????  I think I know what you mean. I never heard about north man accent before, interesting.

Pong lang sa orn were very popular about 12 years ago and great musicians, they fooled aorund too much for my liking, stopping all the time for more jokes. Disbanded now, I expect economics had something to do with it, but lulu and la la the comic girls are still going

Kantrum, not related to morlam or Laos music but to Cambodian music. It's the music of the khamin Thais from Surin and Sisaket mainly who speak their own language still similar to Cambodian. They are the descendants of the great Khmer Empire that ruled large parts of what were to become Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. The rhythm is from the saaw and not the khean as in morlam.

When at uni we have the punk band.

This not them, but another. I like it.

Mrs tells me jing jai is being sincere and I am mark mark, so I must be! Speaking of wife's a beautiful song from Ying Yong, a great entertainer, and loyal husband!

Some recent marriage related songs, both funny clips imo:

Old song from Monsit and a very lovely Fon in CM, no chance of them actually ever getting together of course!

My song of day.

The Thai Elvis Suraphol Sombatchereon, started his career with Rabbit records in the early 50's and by the time he was he was gunned down in August 1968 was the most famous and successful luktung singer in the country. Theories about why he was assassinated are debts, being involved with somebody's wife and because he had refused to hold a concert for an important Army officer. As the reporters turned up from Bangkok before the local Police at  Nakhom Pathom it would indicate somebody of influence did it, the culprit was never identified. Afterwards the attacks on his family continued with even bombs at concerts and gunfire at their cars. His son Surachai was sent to live in Birmingham UK for a time for safety, when he went back to Thailand he also became a well known singer.

If this is not his last song it was one of them 16 years, a lament about his marriage ending. Another great singer from Suphanburi.

You cannot fool all of the people all of the time, an excellent song.

Nong Mai the carrot song, she must have been about 8 then. As she grew up she became a wonderful concert performer, everyone loved her, now she's married with a kid of her own. Time flies!

Bird and JIn about 2002, don't know if they recorded this and fan jha before or after their famous Impact concert with Kat and Nat which I could not find.

Takkatan Cholada famous Thai singer. Good song

She's changed a lot. some people don't like it but it's better than singing the same old style for years. Went to a great party at her house in 2011, remember getting there as it took ages on the bus, don't remember the journey home though!
