Chaiyaphum woman infected with Covid-19 for second time

A Chaiyaphum woman has contracted Covid-19 for the second time after having been cured of the virus while she was in Bangkok in the middle of March.

The woman, 38, had also returned from overseas in March and was found to be infected with the novel coronavirus. She was admitted to Phyathai 2 Hospital in Bangkok and completely cured. Then she decided to return to her hometown.

However, from April 3-5 she became sick again and went for a test. The result showed that her throat was infected with Covid-19.

Another case was a 42-year-old construction worker who returned from Qatar on April 2.

Both cases are now under treatment in local hospitals. Authorities will try to trace people who might have been in close contact with them.

On April 8, a report showed that Chaiyaphum has 109 Covid-19 patients. Eight were new cases. The local government has asked its residents to strictly follow curfew directives to limit the spread of the virus.

Can you keep clearing her of the virus and locking her up? Is this what will happen everywhere? The day may come when you have to let them free so they have a life. The virus might just have to take its course one day unless some real solution is found. In Thailand, people are always touting cures,  that soon are proven to have never happened. It could be that she was never cured. Bumbling bumbling along.

The next question would be, how many of the many cured patients in Thailand are still alive?

I thought that you were supposed to become immune after being infected for the first time?

Someone should alert WHO ... ... ... ...

Id bet 1000 baht that Thailands tests are Chinese, and going by what's being reported, Chinas exported tests are unreliable.

Also she could have had it all along but symptoms got worse, not unusual

Hehe, I've been seeing those on Lazada. They look like those pregnancy test kits that are peed on. I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what they are, with "COVID-19" slapped on.

Theres a study that shows that in a number of cases, there are little or

no antibodies present even after the patient is cured...this is what opens them up to

re-infection...it's pretty interesting.

Yes. That's one study among growing evidence that this virus may hide out with low viral loads (giving false negatives after treatment) or that up to 30% of patients (mostly the ones who had mild cases) do not maintain sufficient antibodies to ward off reinfection. It was the topic of the latest of Dr. Chris Martenson's videos.
Wait...You Can Get Reinfected With The Coronavirus?? - YouTube
Much yet to learn and until it is understood well enough there will need to be regional waves of lockdown - to prevent overwhelming the hospital system of a region.

It is known that the current "nasal swab" tests are quite unreliable. Their quality depends too much on the skill of the person taking the sample, the "quantity" of virus in a given spot varies also.

If this is the case, then we don't stand a chance, e.g. all those people being treated and sent home when good, either get it again somehow, from another infected person or it just flares up again, if the latter, like I said earlier, we don't stand a chance.

Where is this miracle vaccine that hasn't been developed yet........................better hurry along before it's too late and it starts up again in its 2nd wave, we are also going to have stay indoors for longer I would imagine, oh no !!!

I have the feeling that, if there were true reinfection cases, a vaccine could become even more hypothetical.

Where is this vaccine.

Where is the Herpes vaccine?

Where is the HIV vaccine?

Where is the Zika vaccine?

Who knows, there may never be one for this.

Has anyone considered that having this flu-like virus may be just part of life, as in everyone having cancer cells in their body ?

They already have one, it's just a matter of when they want to release it ????

Some good news just in:

does CURE mean, they do another test and you don't have RNA in such a big number

you know they increase/grow whatever you have, 45 times in a machine

you know the CORONA test, does not look for CORONA virus DNA, right ?

I follow this one and dr. Bergman and THE HIGHWIRE and some PHD professors

but this info might not be tolerated here on TV

She probably thought because she was cleared the first time she was immune and went here there and everywhere

More likely that she was never cured in the first place and the symptoms reappeared

For some people  - possibly, but I'm sure you're aware of the huge number of people dying horrible deaths as a result of having this virus?!

the WHO What's It crowd will never second this
