Hi can anyone give a list of areas in thailand that will lift the ban on beer. please if you know every areaplease let me and dont make list only if you really know kind regards

Thailand's government has confirmed that the ban on the sale of alcohol will be lifted as of the 3rd May 2020.

But do note that this is ultimately under the control of the local governors, if they say "no beer" then no beer it is.

...or taking into the restaurant as long you eat alone and create no social gathering.

I kind of feel sorry for the people in these areas, its a little unfair if the government has lifted the ban.

Luckily we don't need to drive too far to be in a "selling" area, or my step-son can bring some when he visits on a Sunday to do the garden.

The correct answer is no alcohol allowed in any restaurant or hotel in BKK,or anywhere else in Thailand. Just for take away to drink at home.

No bars and pubs are open.
