Thanks, where was the 7-11 located?

I also saw it mentioned elsewhere that Tesco-Lotus Express in Naklua is selling it after 11:00, though they don't have much stock apparently.

Probably stockpiling it so that they can resell it at a 100% markup when the ban is reimposed, lol.

Similar example of social distancing as where I tried to get some beer earlier.

Anyone would think they were giving it away free!

I wonder how long it will be before we are reading stories on TV about fights breaking out?

That guy at the front got 5 boxes out of the 48 on the pallet - greedy f u kker

Most of those folks in the video grabbing cases don't look so much avid Leo drinkers, as they do folks who will sell the beer onward on their local businesses, govt bans notwithstanding.

Maybe 64 cases, I dunno

I also saw someone take two at a time, that is just so wrong.

Just walked into the wholesaler next to Friendship Supermarket /Dolphin Roundabout. An hour ago they had stock and it was quite quiet.

Today will go down in history as

' The great scrum of 2020 '

One of the benefits of not living in a big city is that you don't have to face these unseemly melees. It was pretty dignified at our local wholesaler this morning and I got the wife a 12 bottle box of Chang for 584 baht without having to fight for it plus something for myself.

Herd immunity has been enhanced by herd mentality.

As posted in one of the other threads.

No alcohol restrictions at Tesco Khlong Luang and "non-essential" items available again.

I went to Friendship to stock up with the quality booze: good Australian wine, Remy, Bombay Sapphire and port, not to mention Fever Tree and cider. Very busy, many farangs mostly buying wine, beer and spirits. It's not an ideal place for buying beer so I went on to Soi 17 where there are two wholesalers next to each other, The big one was closed completely, and the smaller one had no beer left. This was around midday. A wholesaler on Thepprasit I tried was also completely out of beer, but I found another one in Jomtien that still had a decent supply so I got five cases of SML. That little lot should keep me going for a few days.

Oh, and I was going to get a bottle of Sambuca for the GF, but then I remembered the old Castlemain XXXX advert...

On my condo complex at Lumpini  Naklua Wongamat. Other 7/11s are available.???? I guess anyone running out if stock will have 3 hours between 2 and 5 to get some more in.

I just picked up a case of Budweiser in my local 7-eleven, no shortages there.

Probably buying to sell to farang. Panic breaking out, but no stampede yet

i expect most of the chaos today is from people buying to sell on for profit

Big C at Central Marina seems to have plenty of stock and was not busy. Looking at the trolleys Leo seems to be the popular item.  This was about 12.15.
