I think that you have got that the wrong way around.   If only the driver had obeyed the curfew she would still be alive.   Nice bit of victim bashing though.

  • what a nice thing to say. i doubt she had a big house to live in like you do.

Hit and run, how unusual in Thailand.

First photo is "historic" from Walking street as a reference to her dancing, not from the night of her death?

I used to see her on Walking st, around 6.30am when i was exercising, totally drunk, sometimes no hat, was totally bald, sometimes topless. Sad life but always seemed happy when drunk, in the UK would have been in an old people's home

Nice bit of victim bashing though.

Not bashing the deceased, but curfew or no curfew, what was she doing in the middle of the road?

Getting run over by a driver not looking where he was going, obviously.

if they know it was a pick up truck, maybe there are witnesses or a cctv that have the plate number. Although with a lady of her social status I doubt huge efforts will be expended on the investigation, which is sad.

What were you doing exercising totally drunk and topless?  I guess it was before the sun came up so you probably didn't need a hat for your bald head, but thanks for also giving us those details.

Equally, what was the hit and run driver doing out there during curfew hours.

Being in the middle of the road during curfew time should mean that she would have been perfectly safe, IF ONLY the driver was not breaking the curfew.

If she was a grandmother where are her children and grandchildren in this land that is supposed to respect their elders?

It's been reported on here she was often drunk.  So, drunk and dancing in the middle of the road, usually at night.  Only a matter of time before she was going to be involved in an accident.

The BiB are low on cash, so they might investigate, in the hope it was a farang driver.
