Koh Phangan: Hunt on for foreigner who attacked pharmacist

A social media post on a Line group of Koh Phangan residents reported that a pharmacist was assaulted by a bare chested, shorts wearing foreigner. 

 

They called on anyone who sees him or knows where he is staying to go to the police.

 

Naew Na called him wild after he grabbed the pharmacist at the Noppaporn Pharmacy in Had Rin.

 

They said that CCTV showed him grabbing the worker with his left hand then slapping him with his right, knocking off his glasses following an angry exchange. After this the pharmacist got some money to give to the foreigner.

 

It happened in two minutes on Sunday at 1pm. 

 

Local police chief Pol Col Phisit Wisetwong said that the pharmacist told the police that he had sold the foreigner medicine worth 650 baht but couldn't remember what it was. 

 

He was asked to report the crime but did not show up at the police station.

 

An investigation team that went to the pharmacy found the man was not there and was having a day off. 

 

The tourist police on Koh Samui said they were working with the Phangan police to track down the individual responsible for the assault as it was a serious case.

It shouldn't be hard to find him and sort this out. Look at his tattoo and it happened on an island, and there are no tourists.

The pharmacist can’t remember what he sold him and doesn’t want to report it to police, BUT gave a refund??  I wonder why ... fake product??

Local Facebook groups are saying that he sold him sleeping tablets (which are illegal without a prescription) and they didn't work.

I'm curious about how this will turn out compared to the van driver that drop kicked the lady lottery ticket seller.

Easily identifiable if you look at the images from the news source.

clearly he embraced the culture.  no shirt is the way to go!!!!  I eat at restaurants with no shirt and i am super cool.  then after my 11 BigMacs I go and do 10 push ups in front of everyone!!!  Then I wait (read: live) on the beach until the Fool Moon Party (you will get it, read it again).

 

I even board planes without my shirt, flexing when they ask for my ticket. 

 

I'm 64, 145 cm and 200 stones and i'll walk in the middle of the road in downtown BKK just to take a selfie for my cat.

OF COURSE I have a tattoo.......many tattoos......i'm yelling at everyone to see how independent i am, while begging for them to appreciate my tattoos and giving me the attention i never got from my parents

Nothing beats alcohol when it comes to violence. If this guy is a steroid user he is doing it wrong as i see almost no muscle. Just a big guy but certainly not a guy that works out.

I wonder how tiny you are if you compare a guy like that with a bodybuilder or steroid user. The guy has almost no muscle definition.

Not sure why everyone seems to think the guy is some kind of muscle head. He has far too much fat on his belly. No abs to speak off.. no muscle definition. Certainly not a muscle head. I wonder how out of shape the average user of this forum is given they all seem to think this is a muscle head. Damm im far more muscular than that guy and a lot leaner too and I don't even consider myself a true muscle head. 

Too many of these tattoo'ed, roided-up mouth-breathers in Thailand nowadays.

Maybe the pharmacist told him he has nice man boobs which set him off.

I read on a forum that the pharmacist sold him fake viagra and the night before the bully rent a hooker=money wasted. This is the reason why the pharmacist is not complaining and gave back the money: selling fake drugs is a serious felony.

What is really strange, is that so many on this forum usually post that the Thai police can´t do anything if nobody press charges.

Apparently they can. They are searching for him now, don´t they?

I sincerely hope they find the disgrace of a human being.

Yes, very strange, perhaps he sold something illegal or counterfeit and doesn't want to draw attention. I had a bulging disc in my back in Thailand some years ago, the pharmacy sold me Diazepam and codeine no problem,,, not sure about codeine over the counter in Thailand but Diazepam certainly not.

 

Can't think of any other reason he wants to keep a low profile..

Lots of questions in this case....can’t remember what he sold him but refunded money?
 

sounds like inappropriate behavior by the customer over a bogus product?

 

didn’t want to report/come to police station?
