Can you think of anything more ridiculous.  They do not want there own people in their own country because they will continue to be incarcerated time and time again.  So instead lets teach them Englis

  • Again with this BS , Thailand doesnt want criminals from other countries SO WHY do you think they will take in yours .

You can't help to bash these idiots these guys give more laughs than Saturday Night Live!

They can't even teach English now in their schools and they want to teach it to who?  maybe the idiots should think about learning it themselves since the majority can't even speak more than "  Good morning how are you?  I'm fine "

????

I thought they mulled this 2 months ago already..., must be a re-mull.

Thailand has plenty of experience with CIA black sites on its own soil unfortunately, and has shown plenty of expertise in forced disappearances of its own citizens  in Thailand and in neighbouring countries too.

China...China has re-education camps....not the US..

It would not do any harm to teach some Thais, any Thais, English.   Start with the average rural school teacher.

I guess USA and Europe are just waiting to get these fine fellows. Can we now send criminals to Thailand too

Thailand's prison problem: Teach convicts English and send them off to work abroad!

What country would want prisoners from country? Don’t say Australia (hee hee).... If not planned correctly might be seen as slavery... ship um out

And this weeks award for the most idiotic idea goes to ....

Send then NNES into the prisons..??

The USA makes all sorts of difficulties in entering the country if you have a prior conviction.

Would imagine other countries have similar policies.

I would imagine though that just turning up at any border and claiming you're a refugee might get round that as is the norm these days with the West's bizarre open borders policies.

Once again on show. The absolute cream of the crop. Put the prisoners in govt and the govt in prison. No one would notice the difference.

Easy enough to solve with an edict to the RTP to give them clean background checks.

Ya gotta remember...  It's corrupt all the way to from top to bottom.

Release all druggies and dealers who are not violent criminals.

Legalize all drugs make them available cheaply at Govt pharmacies. Marijuana basically would grow it self in most of the country. A public health problem that has proven to not be curable by law enforcement.

Normally, I'd agree with that.  But in the current environment, I'm not sure that turning loose tens of thousands of unemployed folks with no job prospects is a great plan.  They may be non violent to date, but when they get real hungry...

Don't forget, in addition to the English course each convict is going to need > USD $100,00.00 Covid-19 insurance.

Who are we kidding they cannot even teach English to school children at an acceptable level.

"Ok class, repeat after me:

This is not your wallet, it is my wallet."

The big problem here is who is going to do the teaching? Farang or Thai

in the words of John McEnroe "you cant be serious". These people must be on a KPI and have to generate ideas every month. The serious part is; this has now been released to the press, therefore it must have been talked about in cabinet.

What a creative way to prune the competition...send them abroad!

Two of Thailand's greatest exports, hookers and convicts. Maybe they could train the convicts to become pimps - surely onto a winner there.

That's thinking outside of the box!

Send to china to infiltrate and bring that place to its knees.
