Have you ever had a paranormal experience?

Hi guys.

           The other day I went to a freinds house for dinner. Its not there condo but are looking after it for a mate of theres while she is outside of Thailand.

 

While we were sat down I saw a man stood in the kitchen. First of all I thought it was my mind playing tricks on me. That was until my mates wife started asking questions, how old does he look, what was he wearing etc etc..

 

When I described what I saw or thought I saw, she went white, walked into the front room from the balcony where we were all seated, opened a drawer and took out a picture of the girls husband who owns the apartment. He passed away a few years back, and what i described without seeing the picture or ever meeting him was spot on. How can this be explained?

 

Have any of you ever seen or heard anything? Or are you just 100% none believers? Would be good to hear read some comments what ever they are.

It seems like almost all Thais believe in ghosts. And almost all Thais who I asked about it told me they saw ghosts.

I never saw any ghost.

So which one is true?

It's obviously difficult to impossible to prove that something does not exist.

But there is also the issue that sometimes we believe we see or hear something for the first time and in reality it isn't the first time.

 

I.e. maybe at some stage you saw that guy or a picture of him and maybe you knew he was living there and forgot about it. But then somehow you, or your subconscious, remembered something. 

Was what you saw real?

Did you imagine it?

Why like this and not different?

I think nobody really knows. It's very unlikely but is it impossible? I guess it is possible.

 

I think the important part is what you "learn" from this. Will it change your behavior or attitudes in any way? Do you think you should change in any way? Or was is just an interesting experience and that's it?

I saw a ghost, and my Thai wife saw it too.

It woke us both up at the same time.

Its not the first time I have seen things. But in this experience, I have only know the girl for just over half a year. Never met her husband, never seen a picture of him as she has always been very secretive about him, and never been to the aparment before. Even when my freinds took over her aparment, all of her pictures were placed in drawers.

No, it's not. It's a simple response - show it, him, her, the thing, the object to me, or show me scientific proof, that it exists. If you can't, then it doesn't.  ????

Several years back I was with a group of people doing the  Tourist thing at an ancient site  in Buriram district. Taking the obligatory pictures. One shot I wanted to take  was through series of  doorways into a courtyard. But just as I was about to take the pic an old woman stepped into the view which spoiled the intended effect. So I waited patiently for several minutes thinking she would move on but she did not. So eventually I took the shot anyway because she was to one side and the through view was semi visible.

Weird was it turned out that when I reviewed the pics I took that evening she was Not in that picture.

Ghost or not I don't know but if not then that old  girl moved at the speed of  light!

I woke up one night and saw a female figure standing by the wifes side of the bed. It walked around the bed and out the door. It was dark but the light from the aircon was enough to illuminate.

 

I assumed she was off to the toilet and rolled over, but got the fright of my life when I found she was still asleep next to me.

 

This has never happened again since I changed from Chang to Leo.

The posts above confirm that quite a few TV members are dealing with serious issues.

 

Maybe the result of too much exposure to Thai movies, or to lao khao, or both...

We create the world that we see. All we see is non existing, only a projection of what our brain is decoding. This is why if you really want something, chances are it will happen.

 

It happened for me with the visa amnesty, for example. ????????????

 

This is why who believes in ghosts will see them and who doesn't will not.

I was with a Thai girl recently in a hotel room.  About an hour after we went to sleep, we woke up by the entire light system in the room flickering.  Then, full on and full off for a few seconds.  On and off, on and off.  After a few minutes it stopped.  She insisted it was a ghost and someone had previously died in the room.  She did not sleep most of the night and the next morning insisted we change rooms, which we did.

I meditate most days. One of my meditations was visualization letting bright happy light fill the body, area, room, village and keep expanding to fill the earth, planets, universe. So you go as far as you can into the universe as it flashes by. One day on this journey I saw God. I've been meditating for a few years and have only ever seen this once. And I don't drink Chang.

I dont believe in them , as it doesnt make any sense .

But, I have seen a ghost , three other people with me at the time saw it as well .

It was on the vast grounds of a 400 year old house

Used to take a girl out of Thermae, <deleted> in bed but used to have some great stories her name was psychic Anne. She told me her mate had died of AIDS and she went to the funeral up country. Her mates spirit told her she did not know where she was so Anne told her to go back with her to Bangkok, which she did. She was told me this when I said I thought I saw something in the chair in the room, forget the name of the Hotel, think it was the Promenade on suk soi 8. Yes, that will be my friend she is often with me and I never have any problem with customers, she warns me of bad man she said. After that I used to avoid her by going in the back way as she always sat right at the front near the bar area. Ali and Mehmet were sat at the back at a seminar on paranormal activity. The presenter asks the audience if anyone had ever seen a ghost. About a third of them, including Ali and Mehmet, raise their hands. The next question was if anyone had spoken to a ghost. This time, about 20 raise their hands, including the two guys. The third question was, "Who has ever made love to a ghost. Only Ali and Mehmet raise their hands this time.

I am not religious, I don't believe in an afterlife or ghosts, and I am not wanting to see them. 

 

However, there have been several times in my life (not for many years now) that I think I encountered paranormal / unexplained things. 

 

The saddest one was I was walking to meet some friends and started daydreaming about their baby had died and I was telling them some words of comfort.  I suddenly thought what the heck was I thinking and forgot about it.  When I got to their house everyone was really quiet and I asked what was wrong. Well the baby has suddenly got sick and died the night before or multi organ failure.  I was shocked and remembered the things I was supposed to say from my daydream earlier. It was so strange as I had no way of knowing the baby was sick or died. 

 

There were several more experienced spaced apart over years, including one very scary one like out of a horror film. 

 

I can't explain them, but there must be a reason such as having a dream while being not fully asleep, or something like that. 

 

I do not drink or take drugs either...????
