‘If you see Vorayuth, arrest him immediately’: Immigration chief

With all that media attention and all the high stakes players that situation starts to be interesting. I am sure the drama will be better and with more twists than any other Thai soap opera.

Do you believe people on private planes don't get processed by Immigration?

In most countries yes.

Here I somehow suspect that the process is, shall we say, rather more discretionary?

Yes they do but some cover their faces with a brown envelope.

The Thai police and Thai justice system has facilitated Vorayuth living in Thailand for five years after he killed the police officer. Then they facilitated for him to flee abroad.

And this is just one of the many dubious cases where police and prosecution colluded because of a bribe or a connection.

What makes the police think that they have miraculously received the public's trust without ever addressing their systemic decades long corruption?

Of course; if they happen to be looking the other way then they won't see him anyway !

Right.  Key words here: 'if you see'.   "Gosh, I must have been tying my shoe when he walked by."

So many places an aircraft can land here. So many aircraft can fly under radar, or perhaps Brown envelope appears in the air traffic controllers mailbox... Maybe land somewhere else and get driven to a border. Not a real border crossing with immigration officers, or perhaps yes, with sufficient inducement to ignore the order...

but why would be come back here with all this furore. He  was seen in London. He'll stay there, or go to Dubai, like other rich people who run from Thailand.

Yeah, that's right! Immediately arrest that bloke... who has been living ABROAD since 2017 (because YOU allowed him to leave unhindered in the first place, I might add).

What on earth makes the good immigration chief assume that Vorayuth would even contemplate to be returning anytime soon now that several charges against him have been re-instated? What a charade!

See my post #25 above. No-one actually expects anything.
