Drug dealing grannie off to jail after trying to flush her stash down the loo

Police in Lampang arrested a 70 year old woman named only as "Pat" who admitted to having drugs in her possession. 

 

She had 0.63 grams of "ice" or crystal meth in a plastic ziplock bag secreted in the left side of her "mor hom". 

 

A weighing device was also taken into evidence. 

 

Police went into her house in the Mae Moh sub-district after a person was found out front of her property with 20 Ya Ba (meth mixed with caffeine) pills.

On seeing the police granny Pat fled to the toilet where she attempted to flush down her drugs and the scales, items that were retrieved.

 

Pat (an assumed name) admitted the items were hers and said that her grandson had left them with her.

 

She was taken away to the cells of the Lampang provincial court where she will face charges of possession and dealing.

Is taking my body weight an illegal activity? 

 

Good that I am so careful, I don,t want to get arrested for cutting my toe nails. ( Unlawful possession of a weapon ??? )
