banglay Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Hello .. any new updates or info for the protocol on New Years Eve / Countdown in Pattaya ... Popular Post Henryford Posted December 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 30, 2020 Tumble weed would be more exciting than it is now. 2 2
Popular Post Dagfinnur Traustason Posted December 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 30, 2020 New years countdown???? No tourists! Ongoing pandemic! Really? Just take a sitdown with your family or friends. Eat something and cheer the new year in when it´s due time. ???? 3
Popular Post LennyW Posted December 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 30, 2020 There is no protocol as there is no countdown. Stay at home, be part of the cure not the problem! 5 1

Popular Post Susco Posted December 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 30, 2020 Countdown cancelled a week ago, and entertainment venues ordered to close at midnight, so I think Pattaya will be pretty much dead on new years eve 3 1
banglay Posted December 30, 2020 Author Posted December 30, 2020 The Governor of Chonburi has answered the question for me..... Mods please feel free to close this post ????
jesimps Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Bet you a pound to a piece of doo-dah that the hoards still descend on the place for the next few days. Has inter-province travel been banned? Far as I know, it hasn't. Another thing, the house across from me which is inhabited by half of the village of the German guy who owns it, has been playing loud music and partying in the garden for the last couple of days. A case of the locals not taking this outbreak seriously. It's one of two in our community which farang built and then went away and left their wives in residence. Before you knew it, they'd sub-let it to half their home village. The majority of the community is farang owned executive houses, but we may as well be living in a kampong.

Sounds like the German guy passed away. ????

What could Pattaya do for New Years eve that wouldn't draw a crowd of not socially distanced people? Especially if they are intoxicated. Any suggestions?
