Has Elon Musk become an existential threat to humanity?
I've never claimed Trump to be a great orator, and I blame the Dems for him even being there by putting Harris in instead of a candidate that was "normal". I've said it before, but IMO the Dems wanted to lose this one as they knew how bad the situation is going to be. By letting Trump win, they get to enjoy him having a collapsing economy and after it is sorted they get to put a decent candidate up and take back the W H. However, IMO the economic situation for the west is so bad that we are in for a worse depression than the 1930s and only the same solution as the Great Depression had will sort it, which in a world with nukes is not a happy prospect. I hope I'm wrong on that. -

Elephant Panics at Fireworks Display, Injures Several at Fair
Elephants are gentle and intelligent (even able to draw a picture if trained). But very timid at the same time. So scaring(provoking) them is extremely dangerous. When they feel threatened, they often start to gallop suddenly as if they went mad. Fully grown-up adults often weigh 3-4 tons. Imagine the full speed charge of the WW2 Brengun Carrier into the crowd. Rather lucky there was just one there. What if they were in hordes...? -

Thai tax tangle: Expats warned of new rules on overseas income
If I understand your opinion, you believe that a Thai tax resident's foreign pension must be included on a Thai tax form ( if remittedtoThailand), even if a specific DTA with the source country of that pension has Thailand agreement that the pension is exempt Thailand tax. ie Thailand has no rights to tax. Please explain then why there is NO place on the 2023 Thailand tax forms ( neither Thai nor English language forms) for such income to be listed as tax exempt per the DTA that Thailand signed up to? Why would Thailand deliberately omit such? -
