The question , What song reminds you of Thailand . Can't think of one English song but the first time here years ago it was Tata Young singing Sexy Naughty Bitchy , I went back to England briefly then I couldn't wait to come back here for Miss Young.

I suppose another song that is done to death here by anyone who thinks they can sing or play an instrument.......heard everywhere in bars etc.......Hotel California ! God that song is like nails on a blackboard now, but is "Thailand" whenever I here it.

When I die please dont send me to heaven, to many Philippino bands up there playing Hotel California

The average age here is showing.  Likely over 99 years, 11 months, and 30 days...

to confuse aliens from thinking we are all super old..

You beat me to it, I'll have to think of another

Marvin Gaye - Wherever I Lay My Hat (That's My Home)

For all those who have endured a soul sucking relationship, this might provide some solace.

Made in Thailand and Tom, Tom, where you go last night.....by Carabao.

Perhaps I am showing my age.

Once I found my now wife to be, when still traveling back and forth to UK working the song I remember liking  was " My Love" by Westlife.

"Hotel California" which has been overplayed, and more than often massacred, at every single place with a band all along the banana pancake trail.

I bought this guitar and brought it back to Thailand only to find the song passé. Still a good investment and fun to play.

The Carrot Song!

She is married now with kids of her own. She was always great fun at concerts, time flies.

Sundown - Gordon Lightfoot...

My first visit to Thailand in 1974 - stayed at the Malaysia Hotel [before it went gay] and this was playing near constantly on the juke box in the lobby...

Forever after, when I hear that song, I am instantly transported back in time... and place.

if I hear a screeching, high pitched, out of tune song, sung by some retard moron with no talent, who sounds like a monkey having its genitals squeezed in a vice, then I know that I'm in Thailand.

Swap you 1 day of marriage music for 20 years of Thai boxing background noise drivel !
