With deals like this glove deal, it's easy to understand how the enormous wealth that many politicians have, continues to grow!

NACC? You have to be joking; you might as well give it the Derren Brown treatment. Which is:

1. Print out your complaint on a nice big piece of paper.

2. Fold said nice big piece of paper in half a maximum of six times (the maximum number of times you can fold any piece of paper in half is, apparently, seven).

3. Pop it up your bottom.

4. Walk away cautiously but happy, secure in the knowledge that you have struck a blow for freedom and Independence, in a way which does not jeopardise your bowel health. Try to remember though, where it is, otherwise your next bowel movement is likely to cause some momentary consternation.

I have 3 words for Pheu Thai ...............

Kettle Pot Black  !

Sure that is true but does not mean it should not be investigates.

Though just like when PTP was in power the government will do whatever they can NOT to investigate this and bring charges.

Once in power the once who attacked others for being corrupt do the same thing and the cycle goes on.

Few people ever get punished.

*yawn*

You can yawn all you want, but its a fact of life in Thailand. Whoever is in power is corrupt. Their opponents will do whatever they can to uncover the corruption while those in power do whatever they can to sweep it under the rug. It almost never happens that they investigate their own. This happens on both sides. And yes i prefer a more democratic government.

But PTP is not the way to go, i mean the current PM has a drug dealer minister, they had a murderer as minister. Guess what both sides attacked the other their MP and shielded their own. A party with credibility would have gone after their own too. In my country when someone in power steps out of line for corruption they get attacked even by their own (if there is real proof). That is how it should be.

Until they change this in Thailand there will always be heaps of corruption and anger. Because the side not in power hates that they don't have the money and are not shielded.

Anyway I hope the youth keeps on pressure on the current PM he has to go.

They should really bring back Thaksin, at least he was doing things for the public, despite his short temper and snowflake attitude to the press. He still makes those muppets looks exactly like what they are ????

Agreed, but it isn't going to happen until a certain someone is locked up. That will be a sign that something worthwhile is happening and that TL is grabbing a hold of their destiny. Which would be good because right now, TL is living off the fat of it's larceny over the past 30+ years, and the population in general are just too lazy to stop it. Which is why they're relying on the students to do it for them.

It's boring - seen it all before.

The courts in TL are bought and paid for - no point hoping for help from that quarter.

This is true for every country I know of. It's just a matter of degree, transparency & getting caught. Here, they don't give a rat's if they get caught. Likely where most of those medals came from.

"Follow the money" until someone high up tells you to stop following the money.

The previous PM would have been ousted with the first, was it that big land deal early on that netted prayuth millions, of what seems like several hundred incidents of corruption that the current regime has been charged with.

People who were rabid in their outrage with Yingluck, and her "corruption", now seem to shrug their shoulders. Interesting.

I agree with you that both sides of the political devide are corrupt. However, I don't agree with you that they have the same power to attack the other one. The judiciary and semi-judiciary (ex NACC) do not obey the government. They obey the network to which they belong, and this network is yellow/green tainted. So only one side is punished (the red one), and never the other side.

True they don't have the same power, but if you remember the YL saga it took a lot to get her and others to be held responsible. (hasent happened to the other side). But it shows how much they can protect their corrupt practices when in power.

We will see about the yellow ones that are out on jail, (you see youth leaders still in jail so two standards).

I am not trying to argue that it does not matter who is in power as the reds are less powerful. But they are not a solution. Future forward was. Its just that whoever is in power has the same bad morals. Protecting their own while attacking others if they can.

Its not as if the reds did not try to get power over the judiciary and stuff. Like i said they all try the same are all corrupt (im excluding future forward and youth movement from this statement). Just saying that the reds and yellows are the same in a way corruption wise with the yellows being more powerful. But either will rob the country blind and bend rules to suit them.

Its just a really bad situation.

right, because you think Future Forward guy is going to be any different? ???? LOL

he is just waiting for his turn, and the generals can see it and smell it, hence why they "disabled" him ASAP ????

Far more honest them Thaksin or the generals. He put his money in a blind trust so he could not increase his wealth with goverment policy.

Unlile the thief Thaksin who did all kind of things to enrich him like telecom deals and a law so he did not have to pay tax.

Prayut has no corruption scandals so far but the rest of his friends in goveent do .

Future forqard was the way to go.

I wouldn't trust anything from a rich Thai kid looking for power,

he can claim all he wants, once they become PM, they change the rules and do as they please

Thaksin was like that in the beginning, full of good intentions and symbols in 2000, and yet 6 years later, he was an authoritarian who couldn't accept any criticism or the rule of law

and of course, we have Prayut, full of goof intentions in 2014 with the coup and an honorable exit to the unrest, and 6 years later, we see the real person ????

if the NACC was bipartisan and/or independent they would have many probes to conduct on Prayut and his cronies, probe about the vaccines, about the submarines, about the deals with China, about Red Bull Big Boss, etc., etc... unfortunately they will sweep everything under the rug
