Thanks for that information.  I see you are in the Netherlands - I am half-Dutch although born in England.

My mother was born in Middelburg but moved to Eindhoven.  Sorry, I don't speak Dutch, which is annoying.

A question - when you said 'Tough cholesterol' what did you mean?  Did you cholesterol is important for making testosterone ...'?

I do have high cholesterol so I am interested in learning more about how it helps in producing testosterone.

IM getting older, so yha mean though. Forgot the h and means something else , ok

Well you can google of course, thats what i do and try to find reliable sites and check then again with others. Got this one for you,  https://www.artofmanliness.com/articles/how-testosterone-is-made/

Then you can go on with the medical terms and what is in it and find more sites giving more info.

You can built up knowledge then, but becoming the doctor in it? However you know some more.

Ive tinkered with this one ...good for a quickie but not long time ????

See the source image

I bought a pack of these today to try out - 350 baht for 6 capsules.

When I got home and Googled, I found this at the top of the search list -

https://www.fda.gov/drugs/medication-health-fraud/public-notification-grakcu-capsule-contains-hidden-drug-ingredients

I quote from the site
'[7-9-2018] The Food and Drug Administration is advising consumers not to purchase or use Grakcu Capsule, a product promoted for sexual enhancement. This product was identified during an examination of international mail shipments.

FDA laboratory analysis confirmed that Grakcu Capsule contains sildenafil and tadalafil, the active ingredients in the FDA-approved prescription drugs Viagra and Cialis, respectively, used to treat erectile dysfunction. These undeclared ingredients may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates.'

_____________________________________

So it seems that the manufacturers are adding sildenafil and tadalafil on the quiet and not declaring them on the packaging.  No information as to how much of each either.  Worrying.

So there's a chance that people are buying it, getting an erection from the two 'proper' drugs which are padded out with a lot of cheap 'herbal' gunk.  And what else are they adding but not disclosing?

I've never ever trusted so-called herbal and 'natural' remedies, especially here.  It seems to be a good idea not to, reading this.

Excellent post - many thanks.  Yes, one ampoule every three weeks.  The next shot is this Friday.  This was the frequency set for me when I was at Bumrungrad in 2005 and I haven't changed it.

I probably should have had it all checked years ago but I haven't although I will now.

I have read about cypionate but don't like tinkering with hormonal stuff on my own.

I shall look into all the above in more detail in the next few days, so in the meantime, many thanks for your input.

Happy to help. I have been dealing with adjusting testosterone levels since I was 18 and had testicular cancer.

I recommend for you to get your T levels measured just before your next injection - this will show you the lowest level it goes down to and should be an indicator on whether you need increasing dosing frequency (or dosage). I suspect your levels will be very low at this point with the current frequency.

Yes, best to consult a professional endocrinologist. Personally, my specialist in my home country has advised me to adjust my dosage based on what my levels show and how I feel myself (which is the most important). Since the past 5 years, I do everything on my own.

Cypionax is probably produced in an underground lab, thus I recommend to not take it.

Thanks for the tip - are you sure this is the case? I had always assumed it is a legitimate pharmaceutical product by a local company. The package says:

Manufactured by T.P. DRUG LABORATORIES (1969) CO., LTD (RAMA 2 BRANCH)
(address)
http://www.tpdrug.com/th/home/

Distributed by:
MERIDIAN (THAILAND) Co., Ltd

Also found them on Google Street View.

Yes, that's what I always do when I have a test - let the doc draw the blood sample from my arm and then 5 minutes later, she sticks another needle in my bum!  ????

I usually keep all my blood test results in a folder and I am sure I had a testosterone level test late last year but can't find it.  It may have been my vitamin B12 levels though because I also have 3 monthly B12 shots.  I forgot to mention that I was also diagnosed with a B12 deficiency a few years before my testosterone deficiency was found.

I don't suppose that the two are related in any way, are they?

The OP asked - Which Testosterone tests?

The urologist at Bangkok Hospital in CM recommended:

Testosterone

FSH - Follicle Stimulating Hormone

LSH

(The acronyms from memory but those or very close)

I only read 1.5 pages here but 2 guys did away with condoms.

What solution other than either living dangerously or a dedicated long term relationship?

(I hate condoms also but too cautious to do without STD protection).

Slightly wrong.

FSH - Follicle Stimulating Hormone  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Follicle-stimulating_hormone
and in men is basically used in producing sperm cells

LSH - Nope, it's LH - Luteinising Hormone  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Follicle-stimulating_hormone
and is involved in production of testosterone in the testes and controlled by LH from the pituitary gland.

Now, as I no longer have a pituitary, or so I am told after my last MRI years ago, I wonder just how I produce any at all because it seems I am lifetime dependent on injections.

I said "probably" to indicate that I'm not 100% sure. I think TP Drugs is a legit company, but I doubt that the Cypionax which you can currently buy is actually produced by them.

Because wouldn't it be listed under products on their website if they produced it? Besides of this, according to the FDA website 200mg/amp isn't an approved size, so can imho not be sold legally.

This is what you find when you look up the address of the "official distributor", MERIDIAN (THAILAND) Co., Ltd:

meridien.thumb.JPG.b7c42df9db33367ddaabe14d2a86ad76.JPG

(The company name is over the door in yellow font, maybe a bit difficult to read on this picture)

Looks quite shady in my opinion ????

If somebody here is in Bangkok and has some free time, pay them a visit and report back what's going on there, maybe we will know more then. GPS location (near Tesco Rama 2) is: 13.643650,100.441906

How much do you usually pay for Cypionax?

I strongly recommend asking for a doctor or nurse to train you how to inject yourself ???? It's super easy and I'm actually much more comfortable doing it myself rather than some student nurse sticking needles in me haha. With the small quantities of Test-E and C, they can be injected to the shoulder muscle as well. But don't try at home before learning the correct technique.

Not sure about B12 and T relation, but at your age it's normal for natural T-levels to decrease.

Interesting - I agree that it doesn't look very inviting. I assume you looked at this page on the FDA site: http://ndi.fda.moph.go.th/drug_detail/index/?ndrug=2&rctype=1A&rcno=5300464&lpvncd=&lcntpcd=&lcnno=&licensee_no= It does state 100mg/ml which it actually is (one amp is 2ml though with total 200mg). Could the rest be a typo, since I don't think Cypionate products exists at all at a size of 100 mg/amp?

I'm really not sure but I guess would be good to find out more info. I've been using Cypionax for two years now and was planning to continue due to it's low price and long half life.

One speculative explanation I saw on another forum was that it could be that TP Drugs does not sell it themselves, but manufactures it for a third party (which is why they don't list on their website).

I have emailed TP drug asking for more info.

I pay 800 baht for a pack of 10 amps at a pharmacy on Sukhumvit.

I tried the kamagra gel-pineapple flavor! was 100 bt a gel pack in CM....been using the Graku lately for a quick burt, leaves me a bit flushed with heartburn tho..

Remember the golden rule--dont mix acids with bases!

Kamagra gels are 50 baht a pop here in Bangkok.  Kamagra tablets are 250 baht a strip of 4.

I was planning on a bonk tonight but have now remembered I have a early hospital appointment tomorrow morning, and was thinking of using one gel for a change and if things get floppy, then cutting a tablet in half and having that as well.

I won't try the Grakcu yet.  The wife's niece stays with us from Sunday night to Friday morning so normally we get a quickie in on Friday night when it doesn't matter if the headboard bangs the wall.  ????

I realise that a bit of my medical history regarding my hypogonadism might be useful.

In about early 2004 when I was 55, I started having quite worrying memory problems culminating in me waking up with a very painful back one morning.  Not a ’bad back’ type pain, but sore from an injury.  I asked my son to look at it and he said I had a deep gash and graze about 4-5 inches long with a lot of dried blood around it.  I had absolutely no memory at all of how this could have happened.

THREE weeks later, I suddenly remembered that I had been in my loft sorting stuff out and when I was going down the ladder, I slipped and caught my back on the metal hook that retained the ladder to the hatch.

This worried me because I have AD/HD and was always been forgetful and absent minded all my life but it was getting even worse.  I had a lot of high level medical contacts in many fields due to charity work so I called one, a professor of psychiatry, who knew me well.  I told him of the incident and he sounded worried and told me to get to a neurologist and suggested one who was a psychiatrist and neurologist who specialised in AD/HD.  I was pretty well known in the AD/HD field in the UK at that time so he saw me two days later.

The upshot was that he recommended I get an my free testosterone checked ASAP and wrote a letter to my useless GP and also to do an MRI in case of any brain problems.

Now, there was an additional coincidence just before the accident and gash.  I had bumped into an old girlfriend and she suggested that I came round for dinner one night with a strong hint I should stay.  Well, I did – but not for long, because I was as limp as a wet rag.  I had been deliberately celibate for 8 years (never mind why) so had no idea that things had stopped working.

I went back to my useless GP and explained the two incidents but all he did was give me a private prescription for Viagra!  Even I knew that was not the answer.  So I threw the prescription in the bin and insisted he sent me to a local private specialist who at least suggested the GP give me testosterone gels and take my testosterone levels.  He agreed to that but when the results came back, he showed me them and said the levels were normal but he lied to me - they were well below the minimum of the normal range.

I asked him for injections but he point blank refused and said I’d die of prostate cancer in 2 years if I had them – yet here I am 17 years later, in great general health with my PSA in great shape having had the shots every three weeks since.

I tried the gels but they were useless.  Soon afterwards I came to Thailand where I was introduced to the Koh Samui girls and Viagra.  I made hay for quite a while and made up for my voluntary celibacy for about 3 months before moving to Bangkok to teach.

Once established, I enquired about a decent hospital who could sort me out once and for all.  I was referred to Bumrungrad where I was lucky enough to see the amazing Dr Jun, one of the best doctors I have ever met.  https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Jun-Srimanunthiphol

I went into her office and fell in love in the first 3 minutes after she said ‘Right, get everything off and let’s see what you’ve got’.  Very down to earth, a wicked twinkle in her eye and sense of humour, she was exactly what I wanted in a doctor.

I stood there naked whilst she checked me out, 105 fat kgs (230 lbs) of pale quivering blubber being scrutinised minutely, her small hands cupping my balls and remarking on their size and how they were some of the biggest she had ever seen.

She showed me her wooden beads, like a rosary, with each bead bigger than the next, emulating testicle size and indeed, mine were huge, bigger than her biggest bead.  She told me I had hypogonadism and ordered an MRI which showed what she suspected – a cyst in my pituitary (a pituitary adenoma) in the frontal lobe.

I had blood tests for testosterone levels and sure enough, they were way below the minimum.  I went back every week for shots over 4 weeks and then the levels were normal and I have had them ever since.

It got quite expensive going to Bumrungrad every 3 weeks and after I mentioned to an old girlfriend who was an Army nurse, she suggested I go to Phramongkutklao.  I did and all was fine but it was a chore to get there and a long wait for a 2 minute shot, so that's why I just bought the meds myself and started using my local clinic.

So I have a medical need for testosterone replacement and am not doing it in the hope of regaining lost youth and vigour or in the hope of becoming some sort of stud with the ladies.  I'm doing it to stay alive and in some sort of fit state.

Sorry for the length, but the utter incompetence of my British GP was astonishing and I wrote to him from  Thailand and told him so,  with a copy of the Thai medical report in English.  Never heard a peep back.  I know the practice nurse quite well and she told me later he threw it in the bin in fury!

I read your other post regarding the "hidden ingredients" in Grakcu, and I thought as much after I tried them, because they worked extremely well and not only that I was walking round with a perky on for a couple of days.

They did give me a bit of face flush/sinus, but I reasoned it was worth going through that for the end results, so don't be afraid to give them a try and would love to hear back from you as to how things went!!!!!

How many did you take each time?

I have decided to postpone tonight's nookie because I have an early hospital appointment tomorrow and also the wife's niece is staying tonight and tomorrow night.

She'll be going back to the family home on Friday so the date is circled.  At least we can be relaxed and take our time and I have nothing doing on Saturday so might fit a quicky in next morning if all goes well.

I SHALL report back, never fear!  ????

I thought I'd update my avid readers with the latest news.

For various reasons, we didn't have a bonk last Wednesday night but last night the wife's niece went back the family home, so we could have a bit of privacy.

The wife came back from work 2 hours early so by 7.30 we were in the shower  and just after 8 pm, had an early night and very successful it was too.

I think that was helped by the fact that (unusually) we hadn't had a bonk for 9 days (usually it's about 5 or 6 days, maybe a week) so I was raring to go and I think the wife was too, hence her coming home early.

I used a Kamagra gel and then decided to make absolutely sure by taking half a Kamagra tablet (I have a pill cutter).  Worked like a charm.

Next time I think I will try two of those Grakcu things as an experiment and then if they don't work, go back to trying just one Kamagra tablet or gel.

Also, I have a knee checkup on 19th April so when I am there I will ask the doc to refer me to an endocrinologist and/or urologist.  I go to the Army hospital who are pretty good, so I will ask for a full hormone workup as has been suggested.

Many thanks for reading my little saga!  ????  If there are any further issues, I shall put them here.

An avid reader indeed--perhaps a monthly newsletter! ????  So the magic combo was a kamagra gel pack and half a K tab?  the ole one two punch for the missus!

Ahh spring has indeed arrived!  i will keep my solo activities up so will be hot out of the gate once the boys in charge allow us back into the land of smiles ????

Yes, I had forgotten how the gels seem to be a little more effective than the tablets.  I have decided to leave the Grakcu stuff a while longer.

Next step is to try just one gel or just one tablet and see if that works and at some stage try the Grakcu stuff.

If the worst comes to the worst, then the gel and half tablet seems to be effective and also, I think the 9 day interval between bonks had me raring to go.

And yep I get the heat flush too but the worst has been heartburn from em...otherwise..still alive to fight another day!  Pickle tickle time ladies--dim the lights! ????

How do you take half a capsule. Grakcu are capsules not tablets. Heartburn is definitely the worst side effect I have had, like you.

You dont know the story about viagra? They were developing and testing for veins, blood circulation.

Then the tested men (maybe also women) didnt want to return the pills.

We all know why now they didnt want to return, it works for widening veins in your whole body.

It is doing its work. The side effect, was a pleasant one.

But sure it works for your whole blood system.

Omeprazole is not a one time drug. You need to take it daily for at least 2 weeks for it to work. Gaviscon dual action is probably better.
