In these situations your text should be corrected, as it was. Even more so in this situation, where you specifically excluded non-native Americans, where the point made should have included them.

Being a native American Indian is no different than being black.  Or asian.  Or hispanic.  It's racism.  Plain and simple.  And it exists in pretty much every country in the world.  In one form or another.

American's do know less about other countries than some other peoples.  But not really that much.  I can put up some videos of Europeans having problems to identify geography outside their country. 

But mainly because it's a HUGE country with a diversity that doesn't require you to travel for...say...snow skiing.  Hitting the beaches.  Or enjoying the forests.  Unlike in, say, Europe.  And we've only got 2 borders.  One speaks English.  The others are a long way away.

That's some pretty sweeping statements. Personally I think the US is violent and conservative compared to other countries. Research shows racism is worse in less developed countries.

The point I was making is how posters refer to the US without stating such, as we're in Thailand. Most other nationalities point out when they are only speaking of one country.

Among developed countries I think American's do worst at geography.

Objective measures of racism are difficult or impossible to agree on, so obviously your post is a statement of opinion.  However it's a stretch even for an opinion.  Is the US currently trying to eradicate the culture of ethnic groups the way China is attempting to do to the Uygher?  Was the US treatment of Native Americans worse than their treatment by the Spanish and Portuguese in Central and South America?  Has the US implemented state decreed genocide the way Nazi Germany did?

There is no such thing as 'sex addition' thats just a crock of <deleted>. Asian hyper sexuality! Oh once again, get real, the same argument gets punted every time a woman gets raped, because she was wearing too short a skirt. I'll never use the 'I'm not one of those guys' argument, but I totally get until we change the entire idea of what it is to be a man, in the age of online porn, this is only going to get worse, regardless of what laws get passed, your son's need to be educated on what a real man is, and what and how they regard women!

Stop Chinese entering the USA ?  I don't think that's going to be a good thing. There's already a large number of Chinese in the USA, and a large number of people who look the same as Chinese. Yes, the Vietnamese, Koreans, Japanese, etc.  We have to bear in mind that some of them Chinese in California are born in America.

Stopping Chinese (or people who look Chinese) entering America will be regarded as a victory by the racists, and such people are not going to stop their attacks on existing Chinese and Chinese-looking people already in the USA.

The hatred being poured out onto China and Chinese people. Comments like "China gave Covid to the world, China must pay for this".  And "China lied, people died". And "if we didn't have Chinese in our country, we wouldn't have this Covid illness". 

We've got to accept, we here in Thailand fully know that Thais, Koreans, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Singaporeans, etc, are not the same as Chinese.  But racists in America and Europe don't feel the same way. They regard all those who look Chinese, to be Chinese. And any man with an assault rifle who wants to carry out a killing spree, well, he's not going to walk up to an Asian person and ask "are you Chinese or Vietnamese, I'm not going to shoot you if you're Vietnamese".  He'ill simply shoot anybody who looks Chinese.

I say again, I think the media and social media, when they allow people to express their hatred towards Chinese, they actually encourage (intentionally or un-intentionally) attacks on Chinese and Chinese-looking people.

Let's hope Britain does not see a surge of attacks on Chinese-looking people (east Asians) when the lockdown is lifted. I mean, if a man is British, would he take his Thai girlfriend/wife to a pub once the lockdown is removed ? Other customers in the pub might think his girlfriend/wife is Chinese.
