Sanook reported on a case of premeditated murder in Ubon Ratchathani in the north east of Thailand.

The murderer said that he killed his son in law with a shotgun after he slept with his own wife, the victim's mother-in-law.

The shameful infidelity had caused the family to split up and his wife had left him.

Khot, 70, was arrested at his house in Ban Huay Kha by a contingent of provincial and local police.

He has been charged with murder, trespass and a host of weapons offences.

Two guns and plenty of ammunition was taken into evidence. 

On Tuesday evening the suspect, who has admitted what he did, went to 48 year old Pratheuang's house and shot him once in bed with a shotgun.

The victim was found in a pool of blood covering his face with his hand wearing only a towel.

Khot said that Pratheuang had an affair with his wife and brought shame on the family and caused it to break up.

He murdered him in revenge.

There is at least one country where it's actually illegal to share a bed with mom and daughter, must have been prevalent enough to warrant a law.
