We're back to bubbles now?  They have been blabbering about this for a year.  And who buys this garbage?  Thais, that's who.

Make no mistake, China would never allow anyone of their nation to travel and then come back infecting the entire population shutting down the worlds economy for a vacation.  Full stop.  

Until Thailand gets vaccinated the chances of having quarantine free tourism don't appear to happen anytime soon.

Seriously though I wouldn't worry about forming so-called travel bubbles of vaccinated tourists. 

Just look at some of the most vaccinated countries & see how badly they are doing & also where the newer super strains are developing.....Oh what a coincidence ????

Israel is worldwide No. 1 in vaccination. More than 50% of its population received the 2 dozes of Pfizer Vac.

The figures of contracted and sick people dropped dramatically. The country opened all public sites including restaurants and theatres. 

The impact of the mass vaccination is fantastic.

The difference is that China does not have millions of infected people. The UK has millions. Not infectious is not infectious, regardless of how you get there.

 

Of course they are trying to get the Chinese tourists back, it is 40% of the 2019 tourists and they are close enough that it is not a big planning issue. Who would want the superspreaders from the US or UK?

When we see boarder crossings re-open between Burma, and Thailand, then and only then will international travel begin to follow. 

 

Until that situation is addressed, nothing will happen with international tourism. .

Well no bubbles make sense if you have a low transmission and infection rate. Vaccine is no guarantee of either at this stage
