Hopefully by the time the 4th wave arrives he will have battened down the hatches on his shiny new Chinese submarine and sail away with his totally useless ministers as crew.

Complete with a bevy of beauties they took VLT from Thong Lor clubs.  No doubt they will get lost and a search vessel will be sent to locate it. Can you imagine what the popular instruction will be from that search vessel ?

"Calling all hands,,  Please report any banging you hear from the submarine" ????????

Sarcasm or government supporter believing the PM walks on water, which one

.......... meanwhile I am positive that this country needs a new PM and - if they are at it - the rest of the flock can be "renewed" at the same time. Based on what exactly would there be just a status quo? The PM can look up this expression, the other 69+ million Thais are feeling it!

Out of his depth now, he has nothing new to offer, 2nd, wave, 3rd wave and just optimistic about things.

He purposely delayed any purchasing of vaccines until the Thai company could start to manufacture at a much lower price. That doesn't start until mid year...

He should be kicked out of office.

Look who owns that company

....much greater profit.

1000 baht profit for each dose and with a production of 100 million  ( 2 doses for 50 million ) that is a nice little earner that can be shifted out of the country

Why people are so negative about everything Thailand is doing? Nothing looks to be good for the 'experts' here on Thaivisa. Do you think your home country is doing better? If so, go back there and take your negative minds with you.

What a profound and well thought out defence of an indefencible shambles of a ( so called ) government.

He obviously has not bothered to drive down to Pattaya and see all the closed and boarderd up business, 7--11's, massage shops, Gogo's , restaurants , bars and lack of people in Malls and empty hotels/condo's  that are usually rented. How is the economy going to grow when a great portion has closed?  Needs to vacinate and get tourists back in ASAP

Their definition of 'currently being controlled' must be very different from my own definition.

Substitute "observed" for "controlled"!

The Prime Minister is optimistic that the Thai economy will continue to grow this year

He's right you know, the Tooth Fairy told me the same thing last night!

I am positive that my Bank account will grow, positive that I will have a bowel movement once a day, and positive I will not get run over by a bus, I guess the PM's positivity has worn off on me...

What is the difference between a wave and a spike?

I would call this a spike in cases found positive, not a wave.

For those who call this recent increase in cases a wave, what would you call it if it was say 3 times the numbers of positive cases and a much higher death rate than the few we have seen?

Just curious as every time I see a news report from any media site whether it be a social media platform like this, or CNN, they cannot seem to help themselves and use rhetoric to make reality sound worse than it is

total hypocrisy when you consider that they are responsible for this covid wave by telling everyone to travel over songkran, they are total idiots and have no idea what they are doing as it all revolves around money and not the best thing for the thai people, bloody useless hypocrites

Just look at the way they manage the roads, no worries here, less death, roads are easy no vaccine needed.

63 million doses ordered  and none delivered. Why didn't they do this a year ago. They certainly have had plenty of time to plan.

P M says economy will recover. Does he have a crystal ball or magic tarot cards.
