Amazing Anutin still in the cabinet. He procrastinated in the banning of the 3 herbicide chemicals and tried to buy time for his corporate buddies. He got his pet Cannabis project for them. He is way beyond resignation and should be sacked by Prayut for his disastrious mis-management of covid and vaccine procurement. His party BJT is in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Problem is that this lame PM needs BJT and will never has the guts to do the right thing for the country.

Prayut should go too, Anutin is his creature, after all, and it's been obvious for months that he's incapable and incompetent. Why didn't the boss replace him? Expecting Thai politicians to do the honourable thing is a fantasy, it won't happen and this mess will rumble on. It's still hard to believe that a year ago they did  everything right and just about eradicated the virus, while now they're doing everything wrong and allowing infections to spread around the country like wildfire. What on earth changed to make them go from being so cautious to becoming downright careless?

Well, backpackers give Westerners a bad name, to the detriment of sensible ones. But he seems to have been oblivious to their Chinese bus-tour counterparts. The latter, with their pushy, uncouth habits, have taken over Europe to the extent that discerning North American tourists no longer wish to visit Europe.

Everyone knows that any petition will be ignored. It just makes them feel better if they protest. Rather like those who have often come out over the past nine months and blocked traffic to protest about the government and others. They know their efforts will and have amounted to absolutely nothing, but they feel it's better than doing nothing. Fruitless effort, though. Doesn't happen only in Thailand, of course.

Not that many Thais though, only those fighting for Seri Thai would have been sent there.
