New COE information

Here is my interpretation

In order to have an approved COE, you will need to PROVE you have an actual accommodation booking for Sandbox Scheme,

Currently the ASQ-ALQ accommodation proof is done by the Hotels updating a list of confirmed bookings to the Ministry of tourism and sport, this will be slightly different in the Sandbox

 

You will now need a SHA-PLUS-BA (the BA is Booking Authentication) this will be issued from Accommodation provider once you have paid for your booking in FULL

The SHABA () document will have an QR code and reference number, this Document will need to be uploaded when you are applying for your COE for Phuket sandbox.

Of course you will need to upload other documents to get your COE approved.

 

Meeting is 18^th so I expect Gazetted 21^st 22^nd 23^rd

 

COE applications can start Monday 28^th but I could be wrong

Not approved yet. Best advice to you is to concentrate on your Taxi business.

In other words accommodation in own house/family house in Phuket (or wherever the sandbox idea is instituted )is not allowed.

A confirmation of booking in a SHA Plus-certified accommodation establishment. ONLY 

or 

tell your Family or friends to get SHA Plus-certified then you can stay there.

Well, you can book a SHA plus hotel on Agoda and that should be okay and also you don't need to pay directly when booking threw Agoda.

you can booking anything you like on AGODA or Booking  or Any other website, you can also book flights right now today, no problem.

 

But if you want an COE you'll need to have a SHAPLUSBA ????

BA booking Authentication, this BA will be sent to Embassy for COE approval, no BA no COE

You MUST agree to download the Thai Plus application when you apple for your COE, you then have to add your COE number to the Application and scan QR code at immigration arrival at Airport. its been in use sine March april I think

and during your stay you're supposed to use this application when you go anywhere, its same as Thai Chana and Mor Chana but for Tourists who have an COE

I GOT THIS EMAIL TODAY FROM thai embassy in my country:

 

The Embassy has not as yet received any official notification from Bangkok regarding Phuket despite what has been reported in the media, and so the Embassy is unable to advise you regarding Phuket, but hopefully the Embassy will soon receive the requisite information.

As soon as the Embassy is informed of the conditions of entry to Phuket, they will be published on the Embassy’s official Facebook page and on the Embassy’s official website . Thank you.
