Bangkok – Thailand’s Court of Appeal today, July 20th, has upheld the death penalty for a former school director, Prasittichai “Golf” Khaokaew, for shooting dead three people, including two adults and a two-year-old child, and injuring four others during a gold shop heist at a Lop Buri mall in January of last year, 2020.

The sentence was read at the Criminal Court today following legal action from a criminal prosecutor, the gold shop company, and ten other victims or families of victims. The Court had upheld the death sentence and refused to reduce the penalty, reasoning that his actions were inhumane.

Prasittichai was guilty of murder, attempted murder, robbery, and illegal firearm and weapons possession for the case of the gold shop robbery and murder at the department store in Lopburi Province on January 9th, 2021.

Some death sentences are questionable, arguable or "inhumane", not this one...

I've always been against the death penalty simply because there are many instances of miscarriages of Justice in the past but this one really does make one think.

He didn't care so why should we, I remember that day my little niece was around there with her Gran getting an ice cream just before it kicked off they were actually driving home when the <deleted> hit the fan and her mother who works at the hospital heard the news knowing they had gone there and couldn't get through on the phone she was going frantic until they turned up at the hospital safe and sound

That little piece of disgusting human resemblance should not be allowed to seek forgiveness with a wai on a public picture.

Good on Thailand I'm all for death penalty it brings to mind and makes me think about England where a person if you can call him that is being released after serving 30 year,  he raped, tortured and killed two 15 year old girls.

So, it's  the lethal injection for him. Probably Sinopharm.

In this case the only thing that requires thinking about is - when.
