Three men were found dead on the street in Bangkok yesterday (Tuesday), one of them posthumously tested positive for COVID-19, according to rescue workers.

The first victim, a man about 50 years old, was found lying on the road near Bovornnivet Temple at about 10am after he had collapsed. Rescue workers tried to administer oxygen to the victim, but he died later.

Rescue workers suspect that the man was infected with COVID-19 and sealed off that section of the road with steel barriers and put up a warning sign.

He was left lying in the street for 12 hours. Utterly disgraceful.

His body was under the care of rescue workers, utterly obviously.   It wasn't left there with people having to step over it.

My Thai friend tells me of a similar indecent when a man collapsed and died in the street and no one wanted to come close and touch him, he was laying there for a long time before he was collected and take away...

You can get run over by a bus in the UK and end up on the UK covid infected and dead list !

You may end up on the covid infected list but the cause of death will be listed as dying in a RTA.

Now go seal off the morgue, to be sure he will not posthumously infect others.

Three people out of 8m+, they didn't die "in quick succession", no apparent connection between them, the locations were nowhere near each other and no suggestion that they were drug users?    Bit of a tenuous "link"!

They all died in the same day which is indeed in quick succession , drug users don't usually have connections with each other , apart from their dealer .

They may have moved around to other of the cities locations .

I merely suggested that it was a possibility , which indeed it is .

As the OP stated, that section of the road was utterly sealed off with steel barriers and a warning sign was utterly erected so no one was in the area stepping over the body and who do you think was utterly out of the shots...the rescue services, perhaps?

Wuhan had many cases dropping dead in the streets from covid .

It’s not clear that those videos were real.

In the OP, it was revealed that only 1 of the 3 found dead were Covid positive. People fall dead or fall down in the street for many reasons.

let’s not rely on rumor or urban myths here.

Note that Wuhan had as many cases in total as Thailand has in a week,

Perhaps they were leaders of the latest peoples revolution to overthrow the inept Czar and had been administered with some permanent attitude adjustment.

Unfortunately there will be a lot more deaths caused by Covid indirectly.  Remember that a lot of the elderly and poor make what little money they have pan handling.

The only thing that can be done is for some of the temples to create soup lines but then again that poses the contact problem.

Disturbing that they just left his body in the road for twelve hours (all day and into the night).

At least they put cones around the body
