In one sentence you say the Thai government is not taking reasonable care for it's citizens and the very next sentence you show you don't know what or if the folks are getting rental assistance, 555.

If I may say so an asinine critique.

If you are of the opinion 1500 baht per three months from Thai government for food is reasonable for unemployed Thais due to Covid restrictions, I can only think you have zero understanding of the Thai economy.

Many "massage" places still open in and around Soi Honey, Chiyapoon and Buakhao.  No secret just drive past.  Girls crowded together at the front customers coming in and out.  Whatever just saying, no one seems to care about this.

Risky play..... Banglamung is usually 1st or second, number wise, for Chonburi new infections.

Thanks. Have you got a link to that?

This afternoon I have been on a baht bus along the whole of Pattaya Beach Road and all the beach operators are closed.

Yes, beach operators are closed, but i thought that still you are free to go and have a swim.

there is no socialising after the game, lockers and bar, restaurant are closed,

Not sure where you have been playing but most of the courses I have played up to Monday this week were serving alcohol, if not in their restaurants, then on the course. All the locker rooms have definitely been open.......

Too much risk for the reward under the present circumstances.

Covid's closing in.

Danger Close.

Me too. How can they stop people jogging on the beach or having a swim?  Surely that's not the intention.

The girls are typically young, fit and healthy and without any government support their risk comes from not having an income rather than corona.   Conversely, their customers are typically in the bracket that are high risk from corona but do not have to worry not having an income.    What we see here is the delicate balancing act between risk and reward at play from both sides.
