Wow they had the same amount of time to plan for this covid wave as well, but we can see how that turned out no can't we.  I hope they have better luck with this planning.

General Prawit reiterated that the plans must be detailed, carefully made, and proactive in terms of news operations and must be able to be brought into practice. Moreover, they must recruit suitable personnel and rehearse those plans.

Thank you, general, for pointing out the glaringly obvious (as usual). Nobody would've thought about these crucial details. What would we do, where would we be without your unmatched expertise? Now go back to sleep.

Nice to see an old hand and borrowed wrist watch in a key position. No doubt the APEC 2022 conference will be calling for hubs in Thailand and plenty of sub-committees.

General Prawit ordered security-relevant agencies participating in the meeting to work on a detailed security plan

PLAN:

First Step: To establish a Registration Website for all Participants to register

Successive Steps: Not necessary anymore because of First Step

They sure speak of noble efforts  [usually, in a high rhetorical narrative] yet doesn't reflect any such practice.

You'll be remembering how outstanding Thailand handled the looming mess for a year or more - largely by societal efforts, less any officialdom bumbling.

Then all collapsed. What happened?

Anybody else think it unusual that all the aging dinosaurs in various senior Govt positions haven't succumbed to CV19? They must have an unbelievable immune system considering the majority are >60 years of age, or are on a daily cocktail of various vaccine antibodies, both..

I suppose he had to "Chair" something, if only to prove he's still there!

Each time an MP  "chairs" or works yet another committee he receives compensation.

Some can make ridiculous amounts of extra income for jobs they should be doing anyways.

Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan today chaired an online meeting

I feel sorry for the chair, I hope it is re-enforced.

Planning over 12 months ahead ....

Certainly breaking new ground for Thailand, what's next - an introduction to critical thinking, although that might be too big a step at this stage.

The 2022 APEC Summit will be the first physical meeting in three years, bringing representatives of 21 economies together, after cancellation of the meeting in 2019 and teleconference meetings in 2020 and 2021.

I wonder who will be chairing what in 2022
