All Thais rich or poor are suffering to some degree.. yes trillionaires/billionaires have money in the bank, but they are also losing billions.

It is plain as day that Prayut & Anutin have mis-handled this badly and to some extent even went as far as blocking vaccines from coming into the country.

That is something the people will never forgive them for.

The vaccine procurement delays are basically genocidal, so depending on which faction will eventually control the courts if and when he and his bunch of incompetents are being tried, the result could be anything from an acquittal to death.

It was decided for him and this is why his latest new law was over turned by the courts and this time round will most likely find him guilty and removed from his post, paving the way for already chosen new golden boy to take the post.

These Thai Lawyers would have been more believable if they had dared to go to court against China, the originator of the Wuhan virus.

Politicians, loved or unloved, had to rely on "experts".

And there is the problem, the experts didn't know sh*t.

This public and "allowed" version, the real version is much shorter ????

Plan was locally made AZ was going to be given to all Thai people by its owner to save the day.

 

Locally made factory was not set up or had any experience in production of this size, so it was expanded and equipped paid for by tax payers, even though its a privately owned company.

 

Due to incompetence, production was delayed and by the time production began, it was found that it can not keep up with targets and demands, leaving Thailand demand behind.

 

This is short version, but this is why Thailand never bothered getting any vaccine, did not join anywhere and did nothing and why private organization were not allowed to import any, because all was suppose to come from 1 place and 1 place only

Your wrong, Thailand knew before the AZ facility opened that the vaccines produced were not all going to Thailand . Other Asian countries were buying from AZ Thailand. Thai officials originally only ask for 3 million a month. AZ came back and convinced Thai officials They could give them 40% of what they produce a month 5 to 6 million a month. At the same time China was selling Vaccines to Thailand.

First sorry for my English writing but I try to do my best. Pandemics in the past have always brought drastic changes for humans. This will be the case again. I '  m not a pessimist but in my opinion covid is just a harbringer. I think there are bigger problems ahead for humanity especially that pose a threat to capitalism in its present form.Everyone has been talking about covid for over 2 years now you has to look to the bigger picture also?We will have to adapt to a completely changed lifestyle.

I would not assume this. That it has been allowed to go to court suggests that the elite in power have decided to allow it.

 

There is a pressing need for a scapegoat and the logical thing for them to do in order to maintain their  grip on power  would be to throw Prayut under the bus and replace him with someone else of their choosing. 

 

Indeed it has puzzled me that they have not already done so.

 

This may well be an orchestrated charade for the purpose of deflecting public anger while maintaining the status quo. In which case Prayut knows and has already acquiesced to playing his part (he may not have had much choice in that.) He won't see jail time of course and will be well rewarded for his fealty.

I think we all know if Prayuth was not in power right now, he'd be preparing or already took control of the government by stating that the current government in power is handling this very poor and its a matter of national security.
