Fugitive police chief 'Jo Ferrari' surrenders

It will probably spun as a drug interrogation gone terribly wrong. A unfortunate incident, where they tried to extract information and then attempted to save the drug dealers life. Remember, this guy is a revenue generator. He has seniors and knows a lot of secrets, which should stay secret one way or the other. Much like a very expensive and complex Tourbillion watch, you can see the face, some of the mechanism but not all the mechanism and the minute moving parts. We have no idea how it all works together in one piece as it is complex and parts can be changed. This is this case now, high profile (the face), the video and the house (some of the parts) and the rest is all hidden with different parts touching other parts, some bigger, some smaller.

Nobody pointing ........looks like he's going to be OK ????  cannot wait to find out how he is going to spin this.. regards worgeordie

  • Don't blame him. It is bound to become this way.   Blame the organization which provides a 40% commission incentive to police personally on funds and items confiscated in drug busts. How can

  • On television somebody ( a friend ? ) explained that he made a lot of money selling honey online and has been doing it for 20 years

The arrest contradiction and the unusual media event where he was allowed to talk to the press just smell fishy. Earlier news report that he was arrested in Myawaddy town just across the border from Tal's Mae Sot district. He was hidding in a hideout and was extracted by an arresting team of officers and transported to a safe house. Polar opposite to the OP's news that he surrendered in Chonburi. The manner he was árrested' has bearing on sentencing. Allowing him to speak his version of the crime to the press will influence public perception and court decision.

Look,

He's a colonel married or engaged to a Generals daughter.

It's disgusting but their main efforts will be to cover it up and make it as palatable as possible. He is part of the cause of drug criminality.

He wasn't initially angry about detaining a drug suspect, he was more interested as to what benefits he would get personally out of it. He is filth, a thug , a bully and a mafia man.

He outranks most in that room unless you get to major general and above, so they are all buddies together in there.

Scum, that's what they are.

No doubt he will quietly be moved to a desk job for 6 months and then promoted. ????

Like, 'we put the plastic bags over his head, and all went for a coffee, and I took a rather long, but important, phone call and forgot about him'!

You would have thought how did he get away with this 29 cars ect

Surely people will have known what was going on but kept quite

Just shows how corruption is rife here in Thailand  with people in the know turning a blind eye

Will be interesting to see what the outcome will be ????

Amazing, eh?

Lockdown and blah, blah, blah

But this murderous pondlife can easily navigate and get to Myanmar at the drop of a hat when he's on the run.

So much for sealed borders, which we knew, didn't apply to people like him.

Come on  guys, let's be fair, how can one makes a decent living on 43,000 baht. Imported car maintenance cost a fortune in Thailand.

Can't get a plastic bag in 7/11, but all the police stations have them. That's just BS.

If the police can prove that he has obtained money from extortion then it must be assumed that all of his property and money came that way and confiscated. His family should not be allowed to live in luxury if he ends up being convicted.

How long has the practise of plastic bags over the heads to gain confessions been going on?

I remember Colin Martin, author of ' Welcome to Hell '  complaining about this back in the early 2000s.

Answer:- Forever, it's a tried and trusted technique in this mafioso style of policing.

He doesn't need to spin this. Just get the brown envelopes sorted, target a scapegoat, and bail will follow.

Er, did you read the rest of the posts here, notably the one from Gold Star.

it was a joke

Myawaddy in Burma/Myanmar - I am surprised. Either the Myanmarese police force was very, very fast in executing an extradition request from Bangkok or a red interpol alert - or the Thais went "international". As they have no jurisdiction outside Thailand I am just wondering, how that arrest went.

Good work though and, if the pr1ck gets the same judge as the bloke in Udon who shot people at random, he will face the gallows. Let the court proceedings etc. go public - remember the O.J.Simpson case?

No, it is for the microphone to be pointed at whoever is talking.

I think a lot of them above him with same attitude  will cover up for him. how can a 24 yr old be a police chef with the power do this so it seems daily praccis.

It would nt supprice me if they sell the confisticated drugs them selves

You never wanna be the guy with the biggest house on the block.  A lifetime criminal involved in major pulls once told me this.  Once you drawn even the slightest bit of attention to yourself you have a target on your back

OBL a classic example?

So, if he surrendered it's all been sorted.  Pay a fine and off to an inactive post.  Meanwhile, let's auction off the cars and donate the money to organizations feeding the homeless and unemployed.
