Dr. Sukit Atthopakorn, an advisor to House Speaker Chuan Leekpai, told the media this morning (Friday) that Mr. Chuan feels that the alleged bribery has tarnished the image of the House of Representatives

NAHHHH that was done in 2014 and again after the last "election" in fact it is the only "QIM" which exceeds expectations (Quality Improvement Measure)

According to a front page article in yesterday's Bangkok Post, the leader of a small party has offered 10 million Baht to any Government MP who will vote against Prayut. If there are 20 takers Prayut will be gone by this time tomorrow.

What a nest of vipers.

tarnished the image of the House of Representatives and ordered the House secretary-general to investigate, after he had personally inspected the room in which the offence is alleged to have taken place yesterday

What does he expect to find after the fact?  Empty brown envelopes?

Why aren't they investigating the alleged 2 billion THB discrepancy in the Sinovac vaccine purchase?

Sorry.  Typed my post before I saw yours.

Rather annoyingly they did have a good explanation for that.

The purchase was simply over budgeted and the money didn't "exist" as such, it simply wasn't allocated from central funds so there was nothing to return.
