Shows that Thais have the same possibilities as everyone else when properly educated, trained & led.

Indeed why not... sadly the requirements you specify are sadly lacking.

Seal officer route is more competitive than the elisted Seal candidates as more enlisted Seals are much more I demand relative to Seal units.

So congratulations but why isn't the RTM offering enlisted soldiers for Seal training?

congratulations to these devoted soldiers. First in 15 years !!  Just shows the standard of the Thai military.

The percentage of Americans who make it through this training isn't exactly high.

I  heard the Thai military  are  good  at fighting their  way out of a  wet  paper  bag? could  just be a vicious  rumour

I remember (many years ago now) art an undisclosed base/headquarters in Australia there was a detachment of US SEALS on a visit, and one morning as they were usually doing (training before dawn) they were jogging in formation and doing that singing thing they do. The RSM opened his window and bellowed; 'shut the F up! If you blokes have enough wind in you to sing then you aint' trainin' hard enough! LOL ????????

Out of about 1,000 candidates who start the Navy SEAL training pipeline each year, only about 200-250 succeed.

Not saying that is not a great force and the guys who succès are to be congratulated but compared with the Fusiliers marins ( specialised French naval infantry ) who might be assimilated to the US Seals .…. The latter only  gets a 10% success

I don’t think there’s too many who try, though. Also, as much as you’d like it to tell a story about the Thai military, it really doesn’t!! If anything it tells the story of how incredibly difficult this training is and that’s true for everyone from every nation in the world! The failure rate is between 73 and 75%!

So what's the distinction between Thai Navy Seals and this 1 officer that passed now?  Aren't the Thai Navy Seals trained by the US Navy Seals?

I hope the US charged the RTN triple the price to get in the class!

Well done.
A little surprising though as Thai SEAL training is also considered extreme and quite a few americans haven't got through it

As mentioned , just stating

difficult to determine which is the best as they all have their elite personnel

Something that has to be admitted is that there are numerous formations even in the same country and the debate is open

It is not the soldiers it is the commanders. Thai military forces commanders are usually not the best fighters but the best greasers.
