Are they still playing the national anthem in the morning and evening? Here in Pattaya I noticed they stopped, was there a reason for the stoppage?

Stopped in my part of Hat Yai over a year ago. No one puts flags out for birthdays and stuff anymore either.

It has become rare that I noticed this.

Probably still on TV and radio?

Possible reasons are obvious to me but should better not be discussed in depth here.

It's most definitely still on Thai TV and radio...Pattaya has been devastated by the covidiocy many businesses closed less chance to hear the anthem as there is just less activity..also its possible that the local "poo yai barn"  announcement speakers in your area  are  not broken  but "awaiting repair" ????

Probably just conserving electric, since all the EVs are sucking the grid dry.
