3BB Phuket

Featured Replies

Has anyone else had problems with 3BB fiber and Phuket the last 3 to 6 months?  My speeds are down connectivity inconsistent and have had other problems after using 3BB for six years with no problems.

I live at the opposite end of the country in N Chiang Mai Province using fiber

Over the same period there seem to be regular “ break downs” often running into the next day.

Their service is usually good but it’s wearing too thin for me.

I assume you've contacted 3BB and asked them? I had a few problems in my area in Kalasin Province and they simply provided a new modem (free) and all was fine after that.

Yes lots of drop outs, bandwidth reduction and speed problems (Patong).

The various teams have visited with one saying "need to change the modem" and the other saying "nothing wrong with it" so no action taken on that.

The last team magically got the speeds up to spec. for their visit but since then the drop outs etc. continue.

Local chat is over populated distribution nodes....

For me in Kata and Rawai no problem at all.

I live about 10 km outside the city of Nakhon Sawan and have had 3BB for at least 12 years, upgrading until my contract now is for 100Mb. Whenever I think to run a speed test I get 300Mb for download, so no problem.
