Phuket “sandbox” model adapted for Bangkok’s international airports

Thailand’s Suvarnabhumi and Don Muaeng international airports have adapted Phuket’s “sandbox’ model in the management and processing of arriving foreign tourists. Disembarkation to leaving the airports will take roughly 25 minutes, according to Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob.

Alibaba Cloud targets Thailand for new data centre development

60 year old Mrs Jaree Chinphong, a pork butcher at Hua Hin fresh market, is complaining that her son still hasn’t received justice more than 7 years after he was seriously injured after being arrested by Hua Hin police for drug trafficking in January 2015. She has filed a complaint with ‘Mr Decha’, who is a famed lawyer.

Phuket marks 126 new COVID cases, two more deaths

Thailand’s National Office of Buddhism to probe conduct of monks prostrating before disrobed former Phra Yantra

Thailand’s National Office of Buddhism has promised to look into a controversial incident in which several monks were seen prostrating in front of a well known former monk, Phra Yantra, who recently returned to Thailand after 20 years inself-imposed exile in the United States following his disrobement. The incident took place at Luangpho Yok Khao Temple, a monastery in the eastern province of Sa Kaeo.

More private schools in Thailand to close due to pandemic related cashflow problems

About 70 private schools in Thailand have closed down during the past nine months, due to the impacts of COVID-19,and about 100 more are expected to follow suit, including 10 which have already notified the Office of the Private Education Promotion Commission about their decision to close.

Thai Rural Doctor Society explains why only 14% of the Lepu ATKs delivered to southern provinces were distributed

Chonburi/Pattaya confirms overnight Covid-19 curfew will end on Halloween, October 31st
