Thailand approves $660 million support measures for farmers

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's cabinet on Monday approved 22 billion baht ($660 million) of income support measures for farmers, government officials said on Monday.

 

The government will pay farmers the difference in case crop prices are lower than the reference prices, they said.

Most  farmers by me  have given up ad many fields are  now  abandonded,  but this  has been going on for  about 6-7  years  now, slowly  less and less  fileds are tended.

they  may well have farms  but i bet you anything they cant find any workers
