Popular Post RichardColeman Posted November 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2021 Might be a wild guess, but 99% of expats probably wont have a clue what that says and will carry on regardless 4 2

Popular Post bbko Posted November 21, 2021 Popular Post Posted November 21, 2021 Obviously "most" farangs would understand "Fraser's Pattaya Premier Sports Bar & Restaurant" AND see the ATK. Put two & two together and hopefully understand it's about that place and Covid testing. In these times if I'd eaten/visited any place and see it mentioned along with ATK, I'd have the common sense to inquire about it a little more. 3

Notices get stuck up all the time.... mostly warning foreigners they can get fined if they do this that or the other..... now those are usually in English! I agree it could say anything, and needs English translation. 2
mikebell Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 It is unusual to name & (shame/) warn in Thailand. Maybe Mr. Fraser forgot his envelope? 2

Yeah, you can see it coming when the bars eventually reopen. On top of the weekly envelope to be warned when a raid is going to take place, plus the envelope to make sure the girls can dance in the nude, plus the one to prevent the authorities from hassling the bar about girls' ages and nationalities and whatever else, there'll now be a weekly envelope required to maintain your bar's Covid-free status. Who knows, maybe Dr. Yong will personally supervise the Covid-free fund collection, lol... 1
AhFarangJa Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Were they serving alcohol, if so then that must be the problem. Demon drink strikes again. (sarcasm alert) 2
shackleton Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 If the sign is marked in read Why not ask someone the reason why who understands Thai Quite simple really
Dumbfounded Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 I don't think it would be too much to expect that a farang bar with farang customers would have a notice in both thai/english if it was related to Covid, which isn't even mentioned on the notice 1
Golden Triangle Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 I saw it on TMN news yesterday morning or whenever it was, I don't speak, read or write Thai, the presenter was speaking Thai, I understood perfectly that it was about about Fraser's & and if you had been between the dates shown you were advised to get an ATK asap. Not rocket science unless you need to be spoon fed. 1
