INN reported on the activities of the Region 2 police under the command of Lt-Gen Thiti Saengsawang.

Five sites in the eastern Thai province were searched in connection with a gang led by a man called Mana.

Back at the tail end of September police had seized 4,646 Ya Ba (methamphetamine mixed with caffeine in tablet form) and 259.9 grams of crystal meth or "ice".

However, Mana and a man called Wanchai managed to flee arrest.

This led to Natthaphon being found in possession of 82,000 Ya Ba. He told investigators he and Wanchai were just employees of Mana, delivering drugs to roadside drops.

This led to the issuing of warrants to search the five areas in Chonburi this week that resulted in the arrest of Narongrit on loan sharking charges and Ruangrit for marijuana possession.

In addition vehicles, gold and jewelry owned by a man called Somchai in the sum of 14.2 million were seized.

So if these seized assets are rewarded to the police involved in the raids after sales of them in the form of money , then how did joe Ferrari have so much money ??

Look at the amount of police involved who will be expecting some form of reward for their work.
Did joe just refuse to share or did he go on a raid every second day of the week all on his own ? ????

Seems they can catch all the Somchai's, net all the goods [to be taken off the street to avoid harm to Thais] but never get the King-pin" who they probably know?

'local kingpin remains at large' of course he does.  We are talking about a lazy ineffectual police force whose capacity for corruption knows no bounds.

They just taxed one of their employees, that all.

So you really think that's how he made his money?
