Its disgraceful that the word "hunt" was used in the thread title .     I find it really upsetting and I am close to being offended by it

A bit over the top  by the Thai guy if the Swedish guy was eating with his mask off

Just shows how sensitive some people are especially Thais

Would not have done anything if the guy was Thai

Bar stool myth, 500 baht fines for fighting ended a decade ago. Try 5000 plus medical costs

Just another typical immature hothead that can’t control his temper.   I bet if the person taking off the mask was Thai.  Then no problem.

I remember some years ago i went into the shop in Prasat(surin)because my pc had problems. The lady in the shop asked me to come back in the afternoon.(after closing time)I went back about 7 pm.We sat down and talked about my pc problem. Then she gave me a beer and start checking my pc.Well 1 beer went to 3-4 beers.I speak thai and things start to looking exciting. She wanted me to sit and talk with her about many things.I asked where her bf/husband was and she said shes single.Actually her son confirmed that. After she get drunk and asked me to go upstair with her.I didnt go because i felt something is not rigth.About midnigth the backdoor in her shop was open with a loud smell.A big thaiguy came inside the shop and he was really upset. He was wery drunk. He asked what the f..is going on.She get really scared and tried to explain to him that i was a customer about fixing my pc.It didnt help at all...he attaced me and smacked me down. After that he hit her in her face.I told him to calm down but it didnt help at all.He went crazy and i just left as fast as i could.Yes..her thai husband went back earlier then she expected.I didnt press any charges.Better forget it.

A friend of me get stabbed by a guy from UK in surin some years ago.The UK guy was hired by a guy from australia because my friend use to f.... his thai wife.Actually my friend and this lady was stabbed. They almost died both of them.Well..the police find the stabber and after paid 1 million bath to the victims case was closed.

That's the Thai way and many might say is the most practical way of dealing with such things. The victims are at least compensated, whereas in our world the perpetrators would simply be jailed, which benefits no-one.

Could it be that you suffer from hallucinations? That's the biggest nonsense I've read here in years.

I have no idea which Thais you hang out with, but I haven't met them in 30 years here.

I understood you Hunt for something but you Search for someone.

Never heard of the word "mansearch" but "manhunt" has been used for many years. Another case of P,C. madness - like schoolteachers don't write on a "blackboard" any more - it's a "chalkboard"!

I heard that the Swedish guy wrestled down the Thai guy and held him until security came. But Safari World security just let the Thai guy go so they are just as responsible as an accomplice.

so it was a case of catch and release, rather than a hunt...

Are you suggesting Thai courts are unduly lenient?

My wife's youngest brother got 3 months in Chon Buri nick for failing a urine test.......

Another case of perceived self entitlement

Don't necessarily condone it, but you shouldn't be having sex with someone else's wife.  Play with fire, etc..

The issue is not eneough gets to court, it’s sorted before hand.

I don't think that you are 100% correct in your post.

That must be a bit tricky for my son and my neighbours daughter as both fathers are farang. It doesn't seem to bother their mates either, or the traders in the village who have noticed that I am a farang. My son has my English family surname.

It doesn't seem to matter to my friends children in Bangkok either. The wife is Thai and the husband is from Israel and the 2 children have their fathers surname.

I suppose you think you are being finny.   But on a serious side, I'm sorry the foreigner had this happen, nobody wants to live life wondering when the next time is that someone is going to attack you.

Just what Thailand needs to bring the tourists back !

He should have called the cops, handing this guy over, rather than trusting the company's security.

I would imagine security would get him to let the guy go eventually, or another Thai.  Can you really imagine a foreigner sitting on a Thai and other Thais not coming to his aid?

a knight ????

Never knew knight was an other word for (better not type what im thinking would not want to have a ban)

If Thais are so bad why they hell are you here.

I think you'll find most teachers use a whiteboard.
