Popular Post webfact
Picture: Daily News A terrified passenger on a Rayong to Chonburi minivan called the police after the driver - obviously steaming drunk - drove in an out of traffic "like a snake slithering along the ground", reported Daily News. When Chan, 57, saw the cones laid out at the intercept he tried to burst through but was stopped. He was breath tested and had 310 mg of alcohol - nearly six times over the limit at least. Picture: Daily News Chan reckoned he's only had one bottle of spirits and stopped drinking by 2 am. He didn't say how big it was. He was immediately booked for DUI by Sattahip police and carried away. Pictures showed that he could barely stand. Indeed.... But did he risk his own life by not asking the driver to pull over so he could get out. Its a good thing the police responded. Usually the police are ‘reactive’ rather than ‘proactive’ and do nothing until an incident occurs. ......... I ‘got out’ of a handful of taxi’s in the past because I thought the driver was drunk, or the driver was a complete tool and refused to ’stop watching’ a video on his phone while driving.

Popular Post pkrv
And fine him for not wearing a mask too as clearly witnessed by the police in the pictures. Drunk drivers should receive no leniency for their criminally dangerous behaviour.
Popular Post richard_smith237
Just now, Geoffggi said: The sad part is he will probably be back driving within a couple of weeks Yup.... I recall contacting my sons (previous) school when they’d planned a trip to the butterfly farm. I asked about transport (for 3-4 year olds) and the safety, seating etc. The School outsourced transport to a well known bus company (Montri), they responded to my questions with their answers and sent me their driver policy. I flagged on major point of contention. 'The drivers are breathalysed every morning and if they are over the legal limit to drive they are suspended for the day' !!!! I was incredulous while the Thai staff at the front desk really didn’t see anything wrong with this response !!! 4 1

Or should we somehow believe that was the first time that he was over the legal limit after (probably) decades of driving?

PJPom
In 2015 I traveled to Penang for a visa run in a minivan from Krabi, that was the last time ever in a van. The drivers standard of reckless driving was mirrored by at least eighty percent of the vans I saw, tailgating, undertaking, sheer aggression all seemed to be standard procedure. Now that the drivers have a chance to earn a living again you would think that they might be a bit more careful but no, nothing changes………. T I T sums it up.
