Did anyone snag one of the runout Captivas?

Featured Replies

I was wondering if they turned out to be a good deal or not for the 500K they were selling for?

Good deal as to price discount off original price - -

But, what about service?

Wasn't in the market for one but what great deal just to get rid of there stocks,  no problems with service only people who know next to nowt about Chevy's would worry about it.

To make it simple if you take it to Cockpit dealership there's no problem with service, should I you ever need the computer code that is available.

Chevrolet revamped their dealers into AC/DELCO repair shops. Service should be okay.

Have 2 Chevrolet pickups.  I take them to the now Ford dealership that will continue to service the Chevrolets for years to come.  Even the same staff for the most part.

but this model is essentially an MG, even MG dealers has trouble getting parts from china to repair their own MGs in reasonable time, wonder how much of GM's supply chain is left, maybe the old dealers just got dumped the stock in spare parts, won't be much help for this Captiva model though

Have a chevy optra 16 yrs old brilliant little car ,no problems with spares or service in Pattaya

IIRC the Captiva was actually produced by Daewoo in Korea. They sold quite well in Australia , but do not have a reputation for longevity or reliability.
I would not have bought one at any price - but we are all entitled to our own opinions!

They are.

I have a 7 year old Captiva.

Never had any issues with it only 45,000 k on the clock  I intend to run it for years to come as it's value has dropped  considerably and it's not worth it to change it unfortunately.
