giddyup
I was wondering if they turned out to be a good deal or not for the 500K they were selling for?

To make it simple if you take it to Cockpit dealership there's no problem with service, should I you ever need the computer code that is available. 1

Chevrolet revamped their dealers into AC/DELCO repair shops. Service should be okay. 2
Popular Post dlclark97
Have 2 Chevrolet pickups. I take them to the now Ford dealership that will continue to service the Chevrolets for years to come. Even the same staff for the most part.
digbeth
but this model is essentially an MG, even MG dealers has trouble getting parts from china to repair their own MGs in reasonable time, wonder how much of GM's supply chain is left, maybe the old dealers just got dumped the stock in spare parts, won't be much help for this Captiva model though

G Rex
IIRC the Captiva was actually produced by Daewoo in Korea. They sold quite well in Australia , but do not have a reputation for longevity or reliability. I would not have bought one at any price - but we are all entitled to our own opinions! digbeth
The previous generations were Daewoo, this 'last run' that was launched as GM pulled out of Thailand was Chinese based
ThaiPauly
I have a 7 year old Captiva. Never had any issues with it only 45,000 k on the clock I intend to run it for years to come as it's value has dropped considerably and it's not worth it to change it unfortunately.
