Dance The Night Away

A mesmerising and haunting melody, like below. What an album!

Alvin Lee, giving us the buzz that amphetamines can without any of the downsides.

Paul McCartney, 80 years old and he plays for nearly 3 hours at Glastonbury!

Extraordinary, maybe the music does always keep us young.

Ssssh & Cricklewood Green are both cracking albums IMHO.

One of McCartney's best in my view. Great melodic lines, as in the song below.

Jeez, like Dylan, he had a genius for melodies And what a voice!

What a beautiful song.  It's from the soundtrack of the film.  I'd never watched the movie but from the soundtrack it would appear to be a very depressing melodrama.  Maybe I'll watch it the next time I'm down in the dumps.

But I've been listening to the entire soundtrack and it's very somber.   And very good.  So I had to take a break from the grindstone and post a few more off of that soundtrack by Ry Cooder.

Cancion Mixteca

And perhaps my favourite track off of that album.  She's Leaving The Bank.

Not only will you be twistin' and turnin' to Alex Harvey's Teensville USA but you'll be lookin' for a lass to swing around, too.  Off of the 2016 The Last Of The Teenage Idols CD.
