I was eating cado spread on bread for decades before it was a thing. What's not to like? Its a fat like butter?

avocado toast is oddly <deleted> in Mex, which is odd, given that this is the Veuve Cliquot region of the world for Avocados. The problem: They're toasting up the bread hours in advance and doing the the same with the mushy avocado. Assembled on a toasty baguette and with a little shredded carrot for fiber, I'll do it twice a week.

 

I've not been back to Thailand since Jan '20, but I recall not a single avocado toast spotting. They had the Japanese-inspired giant slab of toast with lots of fruit and whipped cream toast restaurants in nice malls, but I have to believe that Covid has killed those businesses for good.
