Only my opinion? That's nonsense, but due to censorship the other side is seldom heard. Stop goading me to provide scientific evidence, of which I have plenty, as you know it cannot be posted here. It remains a one-sided conversation.

And you know for a fact that there is no medical basis for harm to performance? It has been tested on high performance athletes the level of Novak? I doubt any athletes at Novak's level would submit to laboratory tests and there are very few people on the planet at Novak's level. Then of course, there's still long term effects that will take years to determine as the vax program was rushed. Everyone knows this, yet everyone ignores it.

Let's all just be good little sheeple, and stand in line for a jab or two, or three, or four...

Novak's story doesn't add up.

1) he says he was positive on 16 December. But he was having maskless appearances in close proximity of people (young tennis players, foreign journalists) on that and subsequent days

2) his form, stating he was positive was actually submitted on 10 December, a week before he knew he was positive

3) despite being positive, he got on a plane and flew to Spain for interview and training after receiving results

Now either he was not positive and that was a fake certificate he needed to get medical exception (in Serbia you can buy positive or negative test for 100 EUR or can even get a certificate that you're vaccinated without receiving a single needle).

Or he has violated Serbian and European laws, by refusing to quarantine and instead went out meeting people, unmasked, and even traveled around Europe somehow bypassing the negative test requirements for boarding planes (Serbia is not EU).

Either way, he might be World's best tennis player, but he's one terrible role model, caught in a web of lies, fault for which he's now trying to shift to his team, claiming it was someone else who filled his immigration and visa forms, etc., not him.

Now, assuming he's got a fake positive test, and really he didn't have COVID... what happens if he catches it in the middle of tournament? Will Australia not have mandatory testing of all players on entry to stadium? If anyone is positive, will they allow them to continue playing or throw them in an ambulance and send to COVID isolation unit at the hospital? Would Serbia in that case again claim this was all conspiracy to make Novak drop from tournament and let someone else win?

I have nothing against Novak. I enjoyed watching him play. He's an amazing tennis player. He's done many amazing things where he's shown his huge generosity to others. But this time, I can't agree with what he's doing. Even less so with his family, equating him to Jesus (no kidding). For some reason, the words from the movie The Matrix spring to mind: "You think you're special... You think that the rules somehow don't apply to you..." So spot on.

To me, the whole episode is all about raking in all that cash.....

Perhaps the anti vaxxer males need to read some actual medical research, this may need to be factored into their decison making.

Coronavirus Lingers in Penis and Could Cause Impotence

"We found that the virus affects the blood vessels that supply the penis, causing erectile dysfunction," said senior researcher Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, director of the reproductive urology program at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine. "The blood vessels themselves malfunction and are not able to provide enough blood to enter the penis for an erection."

https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20210513/coronavirus-lingers-in-penis-and-could-cause-impotence#1

very limitedinformation/comparison, however I believe that this is being looked at by several urologists and researchers

The anti vaxers would probably claim this was sponsored by Pfizer ????

Immigration Minister Alex Hawke has used his ministerial powers to personally cancel Novak Djokovic's visa, after the world number one men's tennis player won a court case earlier this week against the cancellation of his entry visa.

Such a snowballing sh1tshow... Wish all of them could be deported together on the same plane... Djokovic, AU gov, VIC gov, TA and their 'expert panels' crooks... People of Australia deserve better... Djokovic should also face the music in Serbia for either producing fake positive cert. or if not then for breaching health laws, but he is a living God there, so, nah.

That was pretty mean to delay the decision on purpose for days and announce it Friday evening...but then what else one could expect from normal lying and backstabbing Aussie politicians.

And they do this to the guy who donated money to the bushfire victims...

Does not give him the right to sign a false declaration on entry.

I agree on the timing, it is parsimonous to say the least

The travel declaration form doesn't mention visa cancellation or deportation as a penalty:

https://covid19.homeaffairs.gov.au/australia-travel-declaration

Penalties and enforcement

The ATD requests critical health information. You must be able to provide evidence that the critical information was completed before boarding the aircraft. This is an enforceable requirement. A person who fails to comply with the requirement may be liable to a civil penalty (fine) of 30 penalty units (currently $6,660 AUD). This is set out in section 46 of the Biosecurity Act 2015.

Giving false or misleading information to the Australian Government is a serious offence. If convicted, the maximum penalty is imprisonment for 12 months.

States and territories may also apply penalties in order to enforce compliance with public health orders. This may include COVID-19 testing and self-isolation or quarantine requirements. If you do not comply with requirements including pre-departure and post-arrival testing, you may face serious penalties, including jail time or significant fines. Requirements may change at short notice.

Jokovic can get 30 penalty units ($6600) which he can easily afford. They can also prosecute him for imprisonment but that won't go very well with his access to lawyers.

I wonder how the events would unfold if Jokovic as No 1 was an EU or US citizen...

The visa application very clearly states that a visa may be refused if the information given is found to be inaccurate.

You are mixing the visa with the travel declaration form...they have nothing in common. Same with Thailand - you can get a visa regardless of the Thailand pass or vaccination status.

The travel declaration does not confer any right to remain in Australia. The visa application does that. It is quite common for people to be deported after entry to Australia if their visa application is subsequently found not to be truthful.

I trust that the relevant French, British and American authorities are sitting up and taking note with the aim of ensuring that Djokovic is denied visas to enable him to participate in any of the remaining 3 Grand Slam tournaments this year (French Open, Wimbledon & American Open), without any prior faffing-about similar to that which their Aussie counterparts have indulged in.

He is investigated in 3 Countries Australia,Spain and also in Serbia and France and the USA won't let anybody in who is not vaccinated

Oh trust me in Thailand it can even get worse where; you can get a visa regardless of the Thailand pass or vaccination status but then you get denied entrance to the Kingdom by any immigration officer (of any rank), your visa voided on the spot bearing a huge "CANCELLED" stamp then you are either escorted out or deported out of the Kingdom.

It's not the majority of the cases mind you, but I've witnessed it happening.

I don't see where it's stated that the cancellation had anything to do with Djokovich's anti vax sentiment.

"However, migration experts believe Djokovic’s diplomatic passport shouldn’t lead to special treatment in his visa fight.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade website states: “Diplomatic and Official Passports do not confer on the holder any special rights or privileges”.

Yes, mentioned by his counsel but no doubt the immigration minister will deny it played a part in his decision. The court may well give him a bridging visa at this point because it would be too disruptive for the tournament and the damage to Djokovich would be great if he was tossed out. That's my prediction anyway. The minister took too long to return a decision which causes a problem for Djokovich.

That was before, correct. And it was for those who "stay in Thailand too mooch"... I didn't like it, just saying... Now this Thai Pass thingy is actually not bad, we get approved before we fly, so no need to worry if some jealous I/O dude or tomboy in DMK will reject us on arrival... If Australia had this Pass thingy they could tell Joker to <deleted> off before his flight, then he couldn't send that bragging Tweet about exemption and start all the sh1tshow... And we could enjoy FA & Carabao cups more without Joker, Morrison and other crooks jumping in on all news sites lol ????

God that was dreadfull... But nice to see Forest advance in FA ???? Back to the topic, in between PL games on the weekend we will probably watch drunk Serbs on Melbourne streets fighting police & demanding justice for Novak, more interesting than court drama ????
