Prachuap: Eight prisoners who fled prison hospital back in custody within 24 hours

Siam Rath reported that eight prisoners who fled a prison hospital connected to Prachuap Khiri Khan prison in Muang district were captured again within 24 hours.

 

The prisoners managed to escape Saturday.

Yesterday Region 7 chief Lt-Gen Thanayut Wuthijaratthamrong along with provincial governor Sathian Charoenrian were pictured interviewing some of the handcuffed escapees as heavily armed commandoes stood watch.

 

An investigation is underway to ensure there is no repeat of the jailbreak.
