As Thailand seeks to introduce an air travel bubble with India, analysts on Monday forecasted that the move could help recover Thailand’s battered tourism sector. 

 

Despite the resumption of Thailand’s quarantine-free Test and Go programme on February 1, India’s borders remain closed to tourists due to its travel ban. Only cargo flights and those with travel bubble agreements are currently allowed to fly in. 

 

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) approved the Thai-Indian travel bubble proposal last week, instructing related agencies to speed up the procedures. The travel bubble agenda will soon be subject to cabinet approval in the coming days.

Unless they have comprehensive COVID insurance costing INR 100 per bubble, I don't see it.

I wouldn't be holding your breath Thailand on Indians saving the day.... 

And its been Quoted again, Quarantine free entry..... Which it's NOT,,  please state the facts Thailand.... 

They can call it what they want, even if it does happen, there’ll be so many strings attached as to be positively stringy and un-bubblelike. This gov does not do normal, logical, uncomplicated etc. 

i.e. Indians should be of the billionaire kind, expect to perform multiple tests daily and submit a trees-worth of irrelevant paperwork.

WOW!! so now they are not even hiding and showing everyone whose interest, they are serving?

 

Btw , Bubble is so 2020 , India is opening quarantine free , no pre or post covid test with just proof of vaccine to whole world so what Bubble CCSA is designing ? There is free evisa for most of the world including Thailand

 

Also Its not long they were hunting Indians, You think they would come to get fleeced, deceived and hunted, all on their own cost? Think again!!

is there such a thing as a one way travel bubble, seems that Thailand can approve a bubble on their end but ....................?

 

is there also one of these none return bubbles with China - I am thinking there are ears on a Thai bubble 

If  they want tourism under covid restriction models even the pre flight pcr 19 test in europe could become difficult by mid year, these tests may not be available and airlines do not req.

So yeah they need to look for new markets even a bubble with saudi would have been up there

 

I think we all know who is living in a bubble.

I'll return when "no quarantine" means no quarantine. Their antics put a whole new meaning to the term Double Jeopardy.

This mob of cretins are all about creating, then, bursting bubbles for a quick buck. It's not about safety it's about opportunity and suppressing the masses until after the next ???election???

Where is the TAT? They usually jump right in saying this will bring 10s of billions of baht per month to Thailand. Oh, it's 7 o'clock, still sleeping.

Sounds good to me and Thailand. I hope they can pull it off with little problems. We got to get back to normal and this would be a start.

thing is ,if one Indian books a flight ,will 3 others expect to share it free  as well as the hotel room and his one beer outside a 7/11?

I can see it now in a restaurant in Pattaya..............One coke and three straws please, oh and one fried rice with three plates and spoons...........Whatever will the restaurants do with the sudden influx of 100 Baht...

If you want to travel these days proof vaccination and a PCR test 72 hours before travel should suffice.

 

The majority of Indians aren't big spenders.  

 

That said, there very pleasant people.

Yippee.....but please restrict the bubble to Indian women.

India will be open to international travel by end of month if not sooner.bengal has just announced opening to international flights with no restrictions.it looks like India have decided the time has come to open up.no quarantine no pcr test etc.thailand playing catch up..

Clearly the limit of 0.2% THC is not followed in the CCSA.  Hallucinating is common. 
Why would India want a travel bubble with Thailand?

There are fewer seams at the fundamentals....

I completely agree,  Vietnam looks to be leading the way in Asia at the moment,

3 days self isolation on arrival, sensible imo not really an earner so that won't be an option everywhere
