Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai said today (Tuesday) that Thailand may need to fine-tune its policy on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but it will not rush to condemn Russia, like many other countries have done, because it will not help to improve the situation.

Pointing out that condemnation is being heaped upon Russia, Don, who is also deputy prime minister, said that Thailand is monitoring the situation closely in Ukraine and may need to adjust its policy to be more tangible, while helping to in ease the situation, not just condemnation.

Some matters, he said, must be allowed to take their natural path, adding that the war in Ukraine involves many players with various vested interests.

TAT could synch with the Foreign Ministry and integrate the those two words into the literature supporting its post-covid renewal:

" Come to the holiday destination that really doesn't give a **** about the Putin directed death and destruction raining down upon the heads of the Ukrainian people. Let us help you take the natural path to forgetfullness.......just like we have!"

It's how the regime is.

I'd like the world to know "what they're like".

I'd like to see the statement broadcast around the world.......a translation sent to every European household.

It's been quite a fortnight for the Government. Failing to take any steps to sanction the military junta in Myanmar at the ASEAN meeting. Cosying up to the Saudi regime and now failing to speak out against Putin waging unprovoked war on his peaceful neighbour.

One day the splinters in the collective backside of this present government will come back to haunt them. If you sup with the devil use a long spoon.

Bitcoin is being widely used in Russia – 40% of the participants view cryptos like Bitcoin as a good long-term investment. People already can pay with Bitcoin for some hotels and restaurants and also cars and furniture, meaning it is being used as a payment medium.

Yes, if 'cyber-jocks' are going to be immoral, best to go all the way.

A single btc transaction uses more energy than a typical US home uses in 24 days. Hey, but day trading geniuses can waste energy to be 'cool'.

Now oligarchs are using btc, and the exchanges---rather than do what moral nations and institutions are doing worldwide---are rationalizing allowing it 'because that's what cryptos are for'.

Self-serving, immoral rationalization is rather unbecoming.

btc users obviously have nothing to fear from Greta Thornberg, but one wonders if aggrieved Ukrainians might take occasional vengeance on btc boasters at some future date. One can hope, of course (intentionally ambiguous).
