Add Grab app to your phone then you are hot to trot. Usually very efficient and inexpensive service.

Better yet..opt for BOLT app. Cash Only but same service and cheaper. I use both but mostly BOLT for past 8 months. 

 

FYI...cannot telephone Bolt either. App only.

Your comment is insulting, truth is that I hold 2 Ph.Ds. For the last decade of my working life I taught executive MBA programs and coached Ph.D. candidates and graded their disertations across 4 countries. 

 

Yes I am an old man, my Thai son insists on taking me wherever I need to go, partially because I am in a wheelchair, but coming soon he'll be away for several weeks and I'll need to use a taxi a few times.

 

By the way,  do you have parents and grandparents who are not up to date with current technology?

With all those impressive education credentials, perhaps you could google and find out that Grab is a company (like Uber, Bolt, Tuk, etc.) that offers transport, food delivery, and other services via a mobile app.
