Hello bike enthusiasts!

I've been looking at the possibility of buying a 2nd hand motorbike!
I saw one on FB market place that caught my interest. It's a Honda CB 2017, 53,000 bht

and has clocked aprox 17km.. He is the 2nd owner, the bike looks in mint condition

from the inspection... Thoughts?

2 owners on a 5 y/o bike and only 17km on it?  Sounds strange.

It might help if you tell of the engine size.

haha! It's 300cc my bad mate... He is the 2nd owner which he purchased in 2020 just before Covid and didn't ride much in two years hence the reason for the low km's apparently.

Cash don't mean much these days, I'd go with 48k and then meet in the middle.

I bought one 2 years back, 5 years old, 48kbht, similar mileage.

Knock them down a couple of thousand ........

Really nice bike, reliable and easy to ride.

Side stand foot is too small, if you park it on soft ground, when you come back it'll be on it's side. Very heavy (especially if you fill the tank), the little Thai guys that want to drag it around to fit another bike in, invariably drop it. Careful where you park.

Easy fix for a few bath with one of those third party extenders. Bought one immediately for my AT.

158kg curb weight seems far from heavy. Just don't give your bike to someone inexperienced and incapable.

Personally the 300s are not my cup of tea. If it were a bit cheaper maybe I'd consider it as a daily scooter replacement but for that it's too inconvenient and unexciting.

If the OP is just getting started with big bikes then maybe it's worth considering as a learner bike that will be sold in 2-3 years.

When you get back you climb on and almost get a hernia trying to lift the bike upright.????

Last drop was at Chiang Mai Immigration ........ while I was inside.

Completely smashed the Honda Wave they dropped it on, broken plastic everywhere.

No damage to my 300, it's a tough bike.

My last big bike was a Yamaha Bulldog 1100cc.

This is far more comfortable to drive than that ever was.
