National – The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) announced another 2-month extension of the Emergency Decree, effective from August 1st to September 30th.

 

CCSA spokesperson Dr. Taweesilp Visanuyothin told the Associated Press after the CCSA general meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O’Cha today, July 8th, that the meeting had considered extending the state of emergency throughout the kingdom for the 19th time for another 2 months until the end of September 2022.

I don't know why they are so insecure, they have a submarine and jets., waiting in ready.... haha

They are ready to torpedo the opposition...

And all the way to the election. Can't remember when I said this would happen. Somewhere around extension 3 I think.

This junta is a running parody of itself.  Why even bother extending the " emergency decree " when in reality is just a guise for complete control of this so called democracy? 

Show me one who was surprised? Emergency decree is here to stay forever just like million billion strains of Covid!!

Does this extension of the emergency decree mean that Covid extensions of stay continue to be available just for the asking?

In Orwell's 1984 geography Thailand would have been a "disputed area", not one of the 3 superpowers. 

But, why????????????????   My falang neighbor can fly home, he's having fun on these extensions!!!!  He must be deported!!!  It's not fair!!!!   I must make my own laws!!!  He came here and got his 18th extension and is having too much fun!!!    OMG, I show him available plane flights out every day, but now he won't talk to me anymore.  I wonder why???

 

On another note, good news.   Means if the SHTF you don't have to leave the country to get a few more months.   

It is certainly a decree... 

 

But is it really still a covid "emergency?" 

The Decree is now a part of Thailand.

The junta will cling to it.

Extension of the Emergency Decree..................................Flip Flopping made easy and so detrimental to tourism.

 

This is why this government has overstayed its welcome so to speak.
