Yes blame the weather nothing to do with the economic climate and the price of gasoline and the inflation

Well it has done little but rain  for days where I am on the outskirts of Pattaya....

Local officials blamed bad weather after the number of tourists arriving at Bali Hai Pier to travel to Koh Larn did not meet their expectations.

Blaming the rain, is out of fashion. Not trendy at all. I see a better choice in lowering their expectations. Honesty is the new hot!

Not to mention two days of no alcohol.

From what I have seen, tourists like to have a drink whilst on holiday.

Imagine the scene - two days if sitting on the beach in the wind and rain, sipping a cup of cocoa.

Just like the UK???????

I witnessed a bizarre phenomenon yesterday at a beach in Hua Hin there were a lot of people in the water it started light rain the sea emptied of bathers and the car park cleared in under 5 minutes the rain lasted 2

My Mrs strutted about like a headless chicken clucking what are we going to do its raining do Thais dissolve in the rain? is my only explanation  ????

It's strange isn't it. I've seen that in quite a few countries. All I could think of was fear of possible lightening.

Well it is still rainy season, is it not?   Here in Alberta Canada

the temperature has been 28 to 31C for the daily highs, so

no one here will travel to Thailand until the weather in the Fall months of

September to November.

It is November to March or April that we Canadians, need to escape the cold weather,

and will be travelling to the tropics.

Good luck with your rainy days.
