Porn ... read & watched my share, I guess, as a youngin'. Short lived as found it boring.

Now ... Really can't think of anything more boring than reading or watching porn.

Best of luck.  In America, you can find porn in the typical left-wing progressive middle-school libraries of American schools.  That's the sign of a sick society that thrives on debauchery.

So, here in Thailand?
Don't let it happen.

How the heck will they control that any child can push the yes bottom (you over 18) or whatever age so quit wasting government money if parents don’t like it check the control box. Last time they blocked Pornhub but there are many other porn sites why just that one???????

As long as they don't get addicted to it and end up with PIED, should be fine. Otherwise they will end up quite lonely individuals who spend their time chatting with a sock.

As I recall, in the mid 60's there was a popular movie released titled 'Porn Free'. Somewhat bestial it featured a lion. Or maybe my memory is fading.....????

So the DES were monitoring the situation closely, following up on parental complaints, giving advice and ensuring that the law was followed to the letter.

Lets keep freedom of viewing on the internet and parents take care of their off-springs viewing habits.

In my day Playboy was my book of evil. Maybe Thailand could have it's own playboy but leave out the pictures. But who would but it?

Lots of people-just for the articles.

Tiime was a lot of porn clips with the word Thai in the title was successfully blocked, so I am told, but now the only thing blocked is Pornhub for some egregious transgression that had nothing to with porn. Even that is easily accessible by using a VPN. Seems an uphill task and a total waste of taxpayers baht.

He cares passionately but is happy to let them die on the roads in their thousands every year.

Are you suggesting they do not have both hands on the wheel or handlebars.... foregone conclusion maybe?

Yes, they're so much more influenced by pornography in movies than by, oh, the dozen or so places selling sex openly that they walk or drive past every day on their way to school. I'm sure the dreaded porn affects them much more than their father having a mia noi who is only a few years older than they are.

Noppawan Huajaiman said that this was a concern of Thai PM Prayuth Chan-ocha who cares passionately about the nation's youngsters

All the illegitimate PM can only think of enriching himself and keeping out of reach a quality education for the youth of Thailand.  He wants to keep them sheep and not to think for themselves.

A true despot dinosaur who will do anything to hang onto power.

Sex is a natural part of growing up, the youth will use any means to educate themselves.  Was it any different in the fifties, sixties and subsequent decades?  Then it might have been books, magazines etc now it’s the internet.
